At 1:41 you say increase the pitch amount. You are altering pitch via vibratio but you’re moving the “mod” knob during this section to control that. Just wanted to clarify if anyone got confused by this
Super nice channel ! In your opinion what is the best way to clock the Grandmother to your DAW? Espacially for Arp / Seq ? To get the right tempo. I work on Pro Tools. Usb-Midi box? external Midi Clock ? Wish you the best, Keep doing nice content ! Yaj
10/10 video, massive fan, just one question: is there a particular reason you turn knobs the way you do? Is it just so your hand doesn't block the knob from the camera or is there some deeper preference to why you don't just grab them from the top? Keep up the awesome content, can't wait til I own this synth in a couple months
heh that's an interesting question. I think this is the default way I do it because honestly I don't think about it. But maybe subconsciously I'm turning my hand for the video and so that I can see its value (the angle in which I record this video is a bit odd, because the synth is pretty far from me because of the overhead camera).
Quite different actually. The GM is very old school, no presets and arguably less modulation possibilities. But its sound is straight up heavenly and it has onboard spring reverb. The sub 37 has presets and a really nice mod matrix. Some say its a darker more modern synth sound. Theyre both excellent however.
Man you’re on fire these days! Love these grandmother contents!
Good one. Getting into the language and sound

those sounds playing around 0:25 - 0:30 are way cooler than the one you're showing, how to make those?

Bro, is this GM can do what Subsequent37 can do ?

I prefer a proper Moog lead sound like Lucky Man by ELP, not that pop crap
