- This early silent era film was released is France circa 1907 and directed by Segundo de Chomón. Like many of his films it was also partially hand-colored. The film is a magical flower filled stage like adventure from start to finish, with unusual appearances of a huge head, multicolored water streams, etc.

Must've taken ages and a lot of patience to hand colour this film. Amazing to see these effects so early on...I can imagine being in an old fashioned cinema watching this if you went back in time and probably just being amazed at what you were seeing.
idk why i like watching these kind of stuff. i feel like im from the victorian era apparently
another amazing production from the early days of cinema

so cute! it's a fairy story! the big head is a satyr maybe.
I like his films, but compared to Méliès, he is well named.
