Dynasty Warriors 3: 4th Weapon Guide - Gan Ning

This is a guide in order to obtain the 4th Weapon for Gan Ning, in Dynasty Warriors 3

Stage: The Battle at He Fei (Original Mode) - Wu Forces
Allow Taishi Ci to be defeated by the special cutscene that triggers between him and Zhang Liao. Supply Captain appears in the north-west corner, and heads to the south-west.
Other notes:
As long as Zhang Liao and Taishi Ci stay in the same sort of area, near the houses where they both start the battle, the cutscene will usually trigger at 2 minutes into the start of the battle. You can hang around to ensure that neither one of them goes too far, or do other things if you wish, it's rare that this cutscene fails to occur.
I would recommend heading to the south west first, since you can eliminate the enemies there first, and intercept the supply unit along the narrow path that it heads along. You're given enough time if you need to head down from the centre on horse, but you can't be too slow to catch them.
The rest of the battle plays out as normal. If you wait and allow Zhang Liao to retreat, he will ambush the commander if the battle goes on long enough. Cao Cao also gets reinforcements sometime into the battle too, and this can be a trigger for the commander to head to Cao Cao's location if he's not being slowed down, since there's an alternate win condition for Wu, if the commander reaches Cao Cao's base.
You shouldn't have much trouble with the battle itself, Gan Ning hits hard with his regular attacks and has a wide range on them to grant some crowd control. His musou attack is an interesting beast, since you have free control over it until the other musou attacks, and it can be hard to aim more than a single hard-hitting attack.

I have not had the time for content creation, lots of real life stuff getting in the way. I do intend to get back to these guides, and maybe improve the quality of the ones I have done already, whenever things die down.
