- This commercial shows what we stand for. We support everyone's right to protest. Protest peacefully. We support our military. We support the police.
In this commercial you see the story of one man's journey of service. From watching 9/11 unfold on TV to his time in the military and now serving again as a police officer.
He has served his country and has held the line. He is doing so here. First protecting protesters and protecting their right to assemble, and when things turn violent, he and his fellow police officers do not run, they defend the line.
Not backing down. Not running. Not afraid. We support all those who stand the line wherever it is.
We are Grunt Style and this we'll defend.

By soldier I meant generally, y'know the armed forces of the U.S., but I guess it doesn't make much sense so I'll change it.

Being a retired Navy veteran, I might be a little more rigid on terminology than most people. To me, a soldier is Army. A Marine is a Marine. Not disparaging anyone, but there is a distinct differentiation within and between the Services. Try this: call an Army Infantryman a Marine, and call a Marine Infantryman a Soldier, and wait for the reaction. It won't be violent, but you will get a reaction.

I'm planning on going into law enforcement at 32 years Of age because we need more people with level heads to take these jobs nobody wants to work in law enforcement anymore because of the sheer danger of it these days as a result the quality Of recruits will continue to fall if it gets bad enough more and more police departments will fall apart

I was 8 when they attacked America on 9/11. I served in the US Marines, I’m an HVAC Technician by Trade and I’m in the Army National Guard now. This resonates very strongly with people like me. Your fellow soldiers are hurting innocent citizens by broadly defining the parties involved, there's even a video of National Guardsman firing pepper balls at some people on their front porch completely unprovoked. That's wrong and as a citizen that appreciates the military and police it's disconcerting to see everyone from the general public to the military falling for this manipulation.

I'm a combat vet too and a volunteer EMT, and I'm disgusted by this video, i get the message they're trying to send and sentiment of wanting to do good for your community... But frankly ? The american people have every right to riot and hate the police, for years abuses and corruption go unchecked because jackasses that fill departments want to play urban Rambo. My friend, who is pregnant yesterday got sprayed in the face while she was protesting. And the cop who did it as well as the department won't face any consequences at all. And after all that we treat cops as some sort of heroes as if they're better or sacrifice more than any other emergency response workers.
I once considered becoming an officer, but with the current state of things? All cops are bastards... Even if some cops are good people outside the uniform.
To repeat what my friend said: "cops are more than glad to use brute force to protect property, cower like bitches when its time to protect the lives of 1st graders"

I'm not american and this video gives me goosebumps, I feel the same way about my country which is in a similar state right now with all these riots and flag burnings and such, and it brings a tear to my eye how others feel about the west, especially when many of their lives were fostered by it.

It's a story of someone who as a kid watched 9/11 unfold on tv, watching the flag raised over the ruins of the Twin Towers. Honoring the flag before his football games. Joining the military and having to salute flag draped coffins of his buddies. He joined the PD after his discharge from service. He grew up loving the flag and served his country after watching it be attacked. You can see the sadness in his eyes seeing the flag burn

My friends dad is a police officer, and he’s changed his name and profile picture on Facebook apparently because he’s afraid of people knowing that he’s a police officer. He’s probably one of the nicest guys I know though. It’s kinda sad

My Father is a Army Staff Sergeant and a Deputy Sheriff. My Dad has annual drill for the Army which last 3 weeks but he had to come home because of the protests and we had to hide his police car in our garage.

This is my husband’s story almost exactly. He was a PAL cadet in high school, helping our local police department. He joined the Army at 17, and 9/11 happened while he was in basic training. He lost friends, was changed forever. Came home and became a police officer in a large city. He was injured on duty and continued to serve the city as an officer and detective. He has bled and been broken for this city and for our country. I am forever thankful for my Hero. We will always Back the Blue, and this we will always defend.
I was thought at a young age to respect police officers and im 46 years old now. My view towards the police is with respect and honor! They risk their lives daily to keep us safe. Lord Jesus Christ protect all the police officers.

I don’t live in the U.S. but this just hits different then anything else out, I’m just 31 seconds and with no words it tells you everything you can understand exactly what the officer is thinking. It’s just one of the best things I’ve ever seen.
This is very impactful, fellow American heroes dying in a war so you can sit back and protest about how you are having it so tough, yet veterans lost limbs and lives to protect and serve the country, so are cops, trying to keep the streets safe(i know there are some bad cops that plant drugs on you and stuff).
