- Introducing the X1 QARK from the British outdoor brand CRUX.
Fabric woven with Dyneema fiber, also known as Cuben fiber, is ultra-lightweight, tough and waterproof. Dyneema is a trade name of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, which is a waterproof fabric with extremely high molecular bond, high tear resistance, and excellent impact resistance. The strength of Dyneema fiber is 15 times stronger than that of iron when compared by weight.
The pole used is FeatherLite NSL Green made by DAC made in Korea.
The bottom of the tent is coated with waterproof liquid and further coated with polyurethane, so the water pressure of the bottom of a normal tent is 5.000m, while the water pressure is 20.000m. Combined with the bathtub structure design, it offers unmatched water resistance.
Pole sleeve (The cylindrical sleeve through which the pole is passed is made with two sewing lines so that it has a V shape, so the tent has high strength structurally.
The weight of the tent body is 750g, the floor size is 100mm in width, 220mm in depth, and 850mm in height, which is large enough to be used by two people.

Nice! though the rear pole sleeves should continue to the pole tip. And I agree condensation would be an issue, also real hot in strong sunlight. I would also love to see a detuned version with door on the long side, not short.
I absolutely love this tent. I know it will be a condensation nightmare compared to my Rab Summit Extreme but I still want it ! :-) Incidentally do you sell the MSR Advance Pro 2 PLUS ? I can't seem to find one to buy in the UK?

As a lightweight and safe shelter, the X1 Quark is a good tent.
