Thank you sir!!! Key take away if I'm correct is the difference between linear power and switching power is that linear power dissipates power in the form of heat where as switching stores and recycles the energy through feedback using the inductor...?

      exactly perfect
liner regulators dissipate heat to absorb the excessive voltage than our requirement
while switching regulators, store excessive potential in form of magnetic energy, and in off period, these recycle that stored energy
and while storing energy, it also limits the current by using its inductive reactance feature
so that the current is limited and same time the energy is also stored

Sir!, you may be proud to know I created a device that is a MPPT solar charge controller combined with a timer that has 5 different functions as well as an on board 3.7V li-ion that is boosted to 12V to run a small pump. This device is mainly used grow food hydroponically. My question is related to my original post, when my battery reaches 100% capacity as far as being fully charged, where does the incoming energy go than? The cn3722 schematic is very easy to find if you wish to look.

Good explanation but also tell how inductor is storing energy and releasing energy

    السلام عليكم Haseeb
Very informative video as we have used from you, keep it up 👍 and I hope it’s always in your good deeds.
I have a question and I hope you could have an answer, I have Philips Airfryer HD9240 that I need to repair it’s PWM ic Viper16 is blown, I bought a lot of them from different sources even from Aliexpress 7 pieces to be exact they are all faulty shorted error amplifier to ground it seems they are all related to the same Chinese cheat, I can’t send you the link because the whole comment will be removed, the circuit has 2 output voltage one of them I know it is 12V and the other maybe 3.3V not sure, do you know replacement for this ic or work around that I could do?
    Thanks 🙏🏻

What happened when the input of the buck converter is less than the out put voltage

Sir with all due respect- an inductor voltage = L* (di/dt I.e. rate of change of current)
It is NOT a voltage cutter!
