I remember doing this to my 240sx when I was 17 by myself. That car taught me so much of what I know today, and in turn probably saved me 10's of thousands. This is definitely a lot of work but you make it look so easy. Great job! Peace of mind is paramount!
DAMMIT! I just did the control arms and now seeing this I want to take it all apart and do the subframe... What Meister shocks/coilovers do you have? Was looking to pick some up to replace the billstiens in mine as they are looking a bit old and worn.
Great job! Really impressive attention to detail. I have just bought myself a 2009 nc sport. Front amd rear subframe drop and rust treatment is next thing on my job list. Have you gone with poly bushes when needing to replace bushes? Seems oem rubber ones are nigh on impossible to get hold of atm!
Great video. On a previous car (Nissan s15) with a similar subframe setup I found you could unbolt the steering rack brackets and just hang the rack off the chassis with strong zip ties to save disconnecting the hoses and the rack itself. Do you think it's feasible with the nc?
Great video - thanks ! Just did the same job on my 2007 NC after watching this but wondered what torque you used for the brace that connects to the back of the front subframe ?

There's always more jobs😂 I have Meister CRDs, so they have height and damping adjustment.

Thank you. I have poly bushes in the top wishbone. I replaced the whole lower arm, so that still had rubber. The rear is all poly and it squeaks😢

Def worth a go, only downside would be that rack could be in the way when rust killing.
@@CompletelyDriven I'm lucky, barely any rust on the chassis but the subframes and arms have the usual 👍.
Real ‘belt & braces’ approach! Well done.
Great video - thanks. Can you drop the sump with the subframe removed? Thanks .
