Last flight of the RAAF F/A-18A/B Classic Hornet returning home to the "Hornets Nest"..

The Royal Australian Air Force's 75 Squadron from RAAF Base Tindal flew their remaining F/A-18A/B Classic Hornets back to the "Hornets Nest" - RAAF Base Williamtown, one last time.
The Squadron this week retired the last operational F/A-18A/B Classic Hornets operated by the RAAF and will transition to the F-35A Lightning II ready for operations at the start of 2022.
The flight of Hornets was intercepted by 3x F-35's from Williamtown meeting up off the coast of New South Wales for a photo shoot, before touching down into the "Hornets Nest".
