Wait until you see/hear them live. Lovebites are the real deal and have two of the best guitarists around. Their live performances are louder, heavier and more brutal than their studio recordings. Their live performances and flawless and better than many bands' srudio recordings and the singer's voice sounds better in an auditorium than a studio. React to anything from their Zepp Diver City, Tokyo 2020 concert and you will not be disappointed. No country is keeping the flame of rock burning quite so brightly as Japan. The number of great bands is staggering, the level of virtuoso musicianship is ridiculously high and the number of kick-ass and bad ass female rock musicians and all female and women-fronted hard rock and metal bands is unrivalled anywhere else in the world.
U should check live performance especially Live From Zepp Diver City Tokyo 2020. Try Choose any songs from that concert. Try "Holy War". All their songs are in English. They have no bad songs.
You have a good and sharp sense. Yes, the singer is not quite operatic. She used to be a R&B singer till she joined this band. She was going to change her style to metal but her band mates persuaded her to stay the same, hence they have a special and outstanding sound. Nice review and have a good one.
Yes! Really like your reaction! Lovebites is a top notch metal band, all members are fantastic musicians! Please check them live! Subscribed, see you next!
Welcomed to the mind-blowing world of Lovebites. They really shine in their live performances. Their concert “Five of a kind, Zepp Divercity, Tokyo 2020” is some kind of a milestone in the metal music in the history of rock.

Very nice song from Lovebites, very fast. But you must watch the live videos of these ladies. Live these women bring rock/metal to a new level. They play Power, Speed and Thash metal. No one has ever seen such dainty creatures play thrash metal so hard before.
Love these ladies! Their talent is unreal. Thank you for reacting to them! I would recommend Holy War and Thunder Vengeance both live, they are best live.

Great reaction to the petite models who turn into Metal Goddesses once they put on those white dresses and high heel shoes. Now try them LIVE and be amazed that they actually sound better LIVE, anything from the Tokyo 2019 or 2020 concerts will blow you away, they play Power, Speed, Thrash, Prog, Rock, Ballads and even classical piano (yes classical piano). If you want Rock go with Band-Maid (another group of amazing musicians) but if you want Metal played the way it was meant to be played there is only one Lovebites.
And I'm glad you make first reaction to Lovebites. Another band of your list?? Just enjoy it. Are they can make blown away like lovebites?? Hmm, not for me.😅

I watched all five videos you did on the J Rock bands. Out of all of them I enjoyed LOVEBITES the most for several reasons - 1) They sing in English 100% 2) Their musicianship is second to none, they are so talented 3) I prefer the vocalist's style and voice over the others 4) I am a fan of heavy metal so the other styles, except Nemophilia weren't appealing. Nemophilia was second, because it was also heavy metal and the song was great. However, I just don't care for the screaming and growling. I enjoyed ALL the bands, and it was cool to see Wagakki band using traditional Japanese instruments and sound. I liked the music behind the girls of BabyMetal, a good and strong heavy metal sound, but I don't like the cutesiness and poppy sound the singers have. Band Maid are great musicians and I would enjoy them more if they sang in English, but without that their music won't make it on my playlist.
For something that starts slower but builds beautifully try Edge Of The World from them (live at Zepp Divercity 2020). they are at least as good if not better live.
An important announcement from LOVEBITES' management Thank you everyone for always extending your kind support and encouragement to LOVEBITES. We are writing to announce that as of this day of August 17, 2021, Miho will be leaving LOVEBITES. As a result, for the time being, the band will be taking a hiatus from all activities as LOVEBITES. Here follow messages from Miho and the band. We would be very grateful if everyone could please wish for lights to shine upon whatever paths Miho and LOVEBITES may take. Given the current state of the world, it has made it difficult for me to give my goodbyes in person, so I really apologize for those who are shocked by this sudden announcement. Over the past couple of years, I have been self-reflecting and reconsidering how I can be myself as a musician. When I look back, this period gave me an opportunity to broaden my perspective in both my professional and personal life. LOVEBITES has been my life since 2016, and it always holds my best memories, especially performing at WACKEN OPEN AIR made one of my dreams come true even though it's still unreal to me. I couldn't have done any of these without my bandmates, crew, staff and the undying love and support from fans all across the globe. My words cannot describe how much I want to thank you all for everything. I'm parting ways with the band. However, my spirit for Heavy Metal never dies. Also, LOVEBITES will keep moving forward, so I really hope you all keep giving the same love for their future. Thank you so much again for all your love and support. Always nice MV, but I basically prefer Lovebites "live" with the best there is in Heavy Metal at the moment, especially the guitar duo, they are wiping the floor with everyone else at the moment, and both of them still see clear potential 😲, and work hard on their guitar playing (they are both late starters on the guitar 🤐🤭😳) the band has an unbelievably solid rhythm section and hit the jackpot with Asami (vocals), the band is also absolutely international. Many other Japanese bands have also become much more international. the Japanese music scene is the biggest black hole on earth at the moment (sorry for my bad english 😁) Great Reaction
Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels sent to save us, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. They have themselves said in interviews that part of their mission is to save heavy metal from darkness and obscurity. Many of their songs are like anthems of redemption and hope. They are unique in the world of metal. They were formed from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief metalhead and soul of the band) recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuke”); they went and found the two guitarists, Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands, and the whole group then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time. Miho and Miyako compose most of their music, in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer, but Midori has also been getting into the act. Asami writes a lot of the lyrics. They have only been around for just shy of 5 years. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Slayer etc. and they pretty much aced it all. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and it seems clear they’re taking it to another level. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash, and almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel. Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. (As another reactor said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band.") Miyako is also a concert-level classical pianist, and some of their songs feature her on the piano. They are amazing live. You should next check out “Holy War” live: ua-cam.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/v-deo.html Other live songs to check out are "Rising" ua-cam.com/video/Y_jrhzzcuRU/v-deo.html "Edge of the World" ua-cam.com/video/FGRxXCDtRFA/v-deo.html And "We the United" ua-cam.com/video/8Xucyl_GbGY/v-deo.html These last two should be done back to back, as they were actually performed in the concert, because they form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope. If you want to see what they do with the piano, watch “Swan Song” WITH the prelude, which is Chopin’s “Revolutionary Etude” ua-cam.com/video/n1BiurShqBM/v-deo.html Miyako wrote “Swan Song” using elements from several classical pieces including the Etude. For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” ua-cam.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/v-deo.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both) Finally, while everyone says always go with live clips, I have to say, these MV’s are epic and worth seeing: "When Destinies Align" ua-cam.com/video/hLFelI93VkM/v-deo.html "Winds of Transylvania" ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html. and you just did "Glory to the World" You can’t go wrong with any of their official clips. You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the sound quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!
Asami was doing backing vocals for a rock group when she auditioned for LOVEBITES. Her solo work was still R&B/Soul but it’s not like she went straight from R&B/Soul to metal.
@@GaryHolloway-810 Hey, thanks for the heads-up. Wow, he gave them 55 mins and a 9.8. But as he said, lots of people suggested GLS, no surprise. I personally think Nightwish were the best rock/metal band in the world for over a decade, maybe 20 years. Looks like the crown could be claimed by one of these Japanese bands--there are a lot of contenders!
I'm often very embarassed that foreign guys asked "Do they play?" when they see a Japanese all female band. It's a question I have never heard in Japan. Have you never seen a girls band before?
Wait until you see/hear them live. Lovebites are the real deal and have two of the best guitarists around. Their live performances are louder, heavier and more brutal than their studio recordings. LOVEBITES - Glory to the World lyrics:
Everything around us will fall into dark
When you keep on looking into the sadness
Nobody in this world may ever be free
My hearts will shiver and I can't take deep breath
But rains will end, and nights will pass, griefs will purify
The dawn will come and bring the light in this world
Grace to my heart, Hallelujah
I know you really care for me
So I leave everything in your hands
You'd walk with me all the way
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all
Time will come where we feel the love and the reason to be me
Standing in nowhere and searching for meanings
A sleepless night haunting us like a shadow
A blur in the future, the fear of unknown
There will come a time where we can leave everything behind
Breeze are running through the land and endless to the sky
Together we will make it through this deep night
Grace to my heart, Hallelujah
I know you really care for me
So I leave everything in your hands
You'd walk with me all the way
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all
Time will come where we feel the love and the reason to be me
And rains will end, and nights will pass, griefs will purify
The dawn will come and bring the light and lead us to a new world
Grace to my heart, Hallelujah
I know you really care for me
So I leave everything in your hands
You'd walk with me all the way
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all
Wherever you go, this world that we breathe together,
Nothing more precious

To our dear fans,
Firstly thank you all for always supporting LOVEBITES.
Today we have to let you know that our bassist, Miho, is leaving LOVEBITES. We’re so sorry to be bringing such sad news to our fans and everyone who has supported us so far.
After Miho told us she was thinking of leaving, the band and our staff have had countless meetings to find a way for her to stay. But in the end, we decided to respect Miho’s wish.
When we think of and feel for our fans, we struggle to find the right words to say.
This is also a really tough one but we need to let you know that we will be suspending our activities as LOVEBITES for a while. However, we are definitely coming back. We kindly ask for your patience until then.
Thank you all for your continued support for LOVEBITES’ future and for Miho’s future.

You should next check out “Holy War” live: ua-cam.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/v-deo.html
Other live songs to check out are "Rising" ua-cam.com/video/Y_jrhzzcuRU/v-deo.html
"Edge of the World" ua-cam.com/video/FGRxXCDtRFA/v-deo.html
And "We the United" ua-cam.com/video/8Xucyl_GbGY/v-deo.html
These last two should be done back to back, as they were actually performed in the concert, because they form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope.
For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” ua-cam.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/v-deo.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both)
Finally, while everyone says always go with live clips, I have to say, these MV’s are epic and worth seeing:
"When Destinies Align" ua-cam.com/video/hLFelI93VkM/v-deo.html
"Winds of Transylvania" ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html.
and you just did "Glory to the World"
You can’t go wrong with any of their official clips.
What a awesome comment Hiawatha.🤘🤘
Yo Hiawatha, you got a shout out on David Heretic Nightwish "Ghost Love Score", congrats.👍
Hiawatha is the foremost authority on Lovebites and their number one fanboy.
LOVEBITES are the saviours of Heavy Metal! or as Asami (vocalist) said: "We are LOVEBITES and we play Heavy Metal!" 🤘
This band will keep you busy for quite a while now;)
Italia presente!
Try Lovebites - Holy War bro..

Please react to Hanabie. And also Sokoninaru. Great bands.

Welcome to the Land of the Rising female rock bands. There are over 100 female rock bands in Japan, most don't have videos out.
This is metal. Not jrock.
I'm often very embarassed that foreign guys asked "Do they play?" when they see a Japanese all female band.
It's a question I have never heard in Japan.
Have you never seen a girls band before?
My first J rock girl band was baby metal, 🤔
