Been listening to metal for over 50 years. This is my all-time favorite song, and Lovebites are my all-time favorite band. The solo run in this song is epic beyond words. I love thrash, and a lot of solos are shredding for the sake of shredding and speed. Lovebites solo runs have the speed, but the also have purpose leading you somewhere. It never sounds random, just shredding because they can.

Welcome to LOVEBITES 🤘🏼🐺🔥 Here some information about my favorite band: LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album both were released in 2017. So far the band has already released 4 full length studio albums, 4 EPs, a best of compilation and a bunch of live albums, available on CD/DVD/Blu-ray. In 2018 LOVEBITES won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band. LOVEBITES have toured in Europe back in 2018/2019 and also recently in 2024. This also includes appearances at most European major metal festivals such as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop, Resurrection Fest and Hellfest. They also played their first US shows this year in September. In 2021 the band went into a hiatus, because founder and bassist Miho quit the band for personal reasons. During the break also two babies were born. LOVEBITES came back in October 2022 with new bassist Fami and a few months later with new album „Judgement Day“. Their newest release is „LOVEBITES EP II“ with 5 amazing new songs. The band members of LOVEBITES are (including their official nicknames) Asami on vocals (the one and only voice): She has an amazing vocal range and vibrato, writes most of the lyrics, also did parts of the song writing for their latest 2 albums, she is a former ballerina and RnB/soul singer Miyako on guitars, piano, keyboards (the golden touch): She is the musical brain of the band, main composer and arranger, a soulful but also shreddy guitar player and concert level pianist, furthermore she is a gear nerd Midori on guitars (crazy shredder): Incredibly fast and technical guitar player, has contributed to songwriting for a few of their songs, also she is a body fitness athlete Haruna on drums (little big engine): Plays very fast pace over long distances, she is very efficient and her stamina is admirable, the cymbal work is outstanding, she also wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food Fami on bass since 2022 (shining fingers): Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop Miho on bass until 2021 (natural born headbanger): We will never forget her, she is a great bass player, she wrote several of the songs for the band’s albums 1-3
You should absolutely check out some of their live stuff. A lot of times power metal bands don't hold up as well live, just cuz it's such a long set doing those crazy solos, but lovebites sound just as good live, nearly every single time.

Congratulations on discovering Lovebites. In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they waited out the pandemic and searched for a new bassist, after their founder and original bassist left the band for personal reasons. They announced the new bassist in October 2022 (see below) and dropped their first new song on December 22. Their new album, “Judgement Day”, was released two months later. Been listening to metal for over 50 years. This is my all-time favorite song, and Lovebites are my all-time favorite band. The solo run in this song is epic beyond words. I love thrash, and a lot of solos are shredding for the sake of shredding and speed. Lovebites solo runs have the speed, but the also have purpose leading you somewhere. It never sounds random, just shredding because they can.

Here some information about my favorite band:
LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album both were released in 2017. So far the band has already released 4 full length studio albums, 4 EPs, a best of compilation and a bunch of live albums, available on CD/DVD/Blu-ray.
In 2018 LOVEBITES won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band.
LOVEBITES have toured in Europe back in 2018/2019 and also recently in 2024. This also includes appearances at most European major metal festivals such as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop, Resurrection Fest and Hellfest.
They also played their first US shows this year in September.
In 2021 the band went into a hiatus, because founder and bassist Miho quit the band for personal reasons. During the break also two babies were born. LOVEBITES came back in October 2022 with new bassist Fami and a few months later with new album „Judgement Day“. Their newest release is „LOVEBITES EP II“ with 5 amazing new songs.

She has an amazing vocal range and vibrato, writes most of the lyrics, also did parts of the song writing for their latest 2 albums, she is a former ballerina and RnB/soul singer
Miyako on guitars, piano, keyboards (the golden touch):
She is the musical brain of the band, main composer and arranger, a soulful but also shreddy guitar player and concert level pianist, furthermore she is a gear nerd
Midori on guitars (crazy shredder):
Incredibly fast and technical guitar player, has contributed to songwriting for a few of their songs, also she is a body fitness athlete
Haruna on drums (little big engine):
Plays very fast pace over long distances, she is very efficient and her stamina is admirable, the cymbal work is outstanding, she also wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food
Fami on bass since 2022 (shining fingers):
Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop
Miho on bass until 2021 (natural born headbanger):
We will never forget her, she is a great bass player, she wrote several of the songs for the band’s albums 1-3
You should absolutely check out some of their live stuff. A lot of times power metal bands don't hold up as well live, just cuz it's such a long set doing those crazy solos, but lovebites sound just as good live, nearly every single time.
You've discovered the Metal Queens. They took the best of the metal bands of the 80's and 90's and perfected it. A great number of their songs lay ahead.

On August 20,2018, LOVEBITES announced that it has partnered with X-ray Touring, one of the largest players in the UK booking agent industry.
LOVEBITES toured the Netherlands, Germany, France and UK from November 13-21, 2018.
Asami (Vo) of LOVEBITES appeared as a guest on stage at Halestorm "Download Japan 2019(March 21)", singing alongside "Lzzy" Hale on Halestorm's "Love Bites (So Do!)", which gave the band their name.
LOVEBITES performed as a support band for "Arch Enemy's China tour at the Shanghai show on March 23 and the Beijing show on March 24, 2019".
LOVEBITES participated in "dowload Festival 2019(June 15)".
And Asami of LOVEBITES appeared as a guest on stage at Halestorm Download Festival UK 2019, singing alongside "Lzzy" Hale on Halestorm's "Love Bites (So Do!)" again after Japan.

They are listened not only by metalheads. Ladies came out of their metal genre and have wider spectrum of fans.
They play Eclectic Metal. It means they blend as the first band in history all kind of metal mainly power and thrash with NWOBHM,
heavy metal, symphonic metal, speed metal,hair metal, hard rock, rock, rock'n'roll, jazz, progressive pieces, funk and even punk. They mix all with classical music using operatic, R&B, soul and gospel skills of vocalist and grand piano and Spanish guitar skills playing. Sometimes they use typical Japanese melodic lines which are included in ENKAs_ melancholy ballads singing by Japanese women. Only their can do it. Obviously they draw a lot from British, German and American metal. All this makes their style unique.

Congratulations on discovering Lovebites. In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they waited out the pandemic and searched for a new bassist, after their founder and original bassist left the band for personal reasons.
They announced the new bassist in October 2022 (see below) and dropped their first new song on December 22. Their new album, “Judgement Day”, was released two months later.
They did their first live performances in more than two years in summer of 2023, with their new bassist Fami. Their very first show was commemorated on the DVD “Knocking on Heaven’s Gate”. They have posted four performances from that DVD:
