Truly, “To Sir With Love,” is my favorite Sidney Poitier movies of all time. I never even realized how aged he was, because this movie, kept him ageless at all times. The movie has given me chills, and a special love for Sidney Poitier and his beautiful Bahamian connection. Being raised in the Bahamas has given him a wonderful outlook of life blended with his lovely voice, charisma and offerings to all who believed in him, loved and liked him. This is an awesome rendition of how it was sang by Lulu, in the 1967 movie,”To Sir With Love.” I cried for the first time, since Sir Poitier’s death. I already knew this song would put my tears to work. The pure white color, that represents purity of the Military, and their performances, have blended in perfectly with the melodies singing of this songstress. It reminds me of some of the places I was when I would play the song over and over again, relaxing and thinking of how I want my life to be. I am now a dedicated minister, but when I saw this, I could not pass it on. Thank you, Sidney Poitier for everything. You have made the world very proud. 17 May 2022: One of the greatest movie actor in America. Sidney made African Americans proud. He never did a degrading role, never had any public scandals. My father was a background extra in two of his earlier movies, "Blackboard Jungle" and "Porgy & Bess". I was blessed to have met the great Sidney twice in Beverly Hills and I have the photo to prove it. Sidney was the greatest of his time. Denzel Washington is the Sidney of this century.

What a beautiful tribute. I watch To Sir With Love with my 11 year old granddaughter and to my surprise she really enjoyed it. The movie is awesome. Not only did Sydney Poitier had class but he was a real gentleman.

17 May 2022: One of the greatest movie actor in America. Sidney made African Americans proud. He never did a degrading role, never had any public scandals. My father was a background extra in two of his earlier movies, "Blackboard Jungle" and "Porgy & Bess". I was blessed to have met the great Sidney twice in Beverly Hills and I have the photo to prove it. Sidney was the greatest of his time. Denzel Washington is the Sidney of this century.
