Bill and Charlie always have good things to say about Brian Jones. Charlie said that it wasn't right to kick him out of the band, because that is all Brian had.
I really respect Bill for the person he is. He was in The Stones for the best years, and he's right that The Stones are just repeating themselves now. I also respect Bill for his loyalty to Brian Jones when all the others have tried to diminish Jones. Bill is a very decent guy and he is a very cool bass player.
The moment Bill walked away from the band that was the end of the Stones. ✨ After that the swagger, the groove and the slightly off tempo charm was gone for ever.
He's not being honest about the long hair thing. Beatles started it, and Stones kicked it up a notch. On their first British E.P. Keith has his hair combed down in front like a Beatle, not grown out in back.
@@KjellKite The Beatles' image was very well planned. First they had a rocker image later it was the neater Brian Epstein uniform image. But even with that image, making music still played the first role, and not making a product that covers a market segment. They created the market segment and invented new styles. I believe the Stones also covered an image, though it was not planned the way how things are planned nowadays. Their image evolved more from the lyrics and the way they played. They created something new, not a marketing team researching which hole in the market is there to fix. Some may remember Paint it Black or Under My Thumb being immensely innovative sounds at that times, sounds that nobody heard before. I guess that is what he wanted to say. I can buy that.
Bill u rock.saw you in Toronto in 1989. at the four seasons. you guys loaded into the van. got your autograph. miss you. autograph stolen just got memories in my head
Let's face it in the Stones Bill was always going to be looked at as the guy who played bass. Confined and sentenced to a life of sameness.....he had his fill of it and wanted to move on. I mean when you are in the greatest rock band if all time .....well your mountain has been climbed.
I met him personally he was a nice guy but this interview is simply untrue. The long hair team in 1967 by them every single one of them was a millionaire. The did not have money to cut their hair. Maybe they will have been hairdressers because Brian Johnson's here looked always the part I'm not sure that and one hairdresser can easily cur that. No money for uniforms. How ridiculous in the early days performed in uniform s just like The Beatles. Later on when they change the clothes they already had money
I’m so happy that he respects Brian so much and he’s rly doing good too which is so awesome
Lump Nuggets He seemed very happy and was really friendly.

Monique Douglas Yes, he was a very decent and nice «down to earth» chap.
He looks like he enjoys this more than his time with the Stones. He's certainly more animated.
bill is impressing..........real nice......
Thanks. He was really nice. Friendly and Down to Earth.
His band sounds great!
Well, they're all legends...
Bill still looked beautiful then.
5InAnotherLand5 he aged so well.
Chingun Chinbat he did. 💖
He kinda looks like the actor Christopher Lee.
If you want the truth of the matter just ask Bill. Lovely guy and a wildly underrated bass player.
Truth of what matter? Anyway I agree - nice guy and great bass player.
@@KjellKite The truth of anything that went on with the Stones. Ya know you're not gettin' that from Jagger. lol
Your friends and family know that you wash your hair every day...lool love Bill

I guess you’re right.
Is nice to know that they are still good friends. I would have bet that their relationship was bad or unexistant

I wasn’t there in ‘62/‘63 so I wouldn’t know, but you have a valid point...
Anyway I guess his main point was that things weren’t that planned and «cynical» back then, which also is a valid point.

Bill un vrai rolling stones dommage qu'il n'es plus dans le groupe 🎸👍
Yeah, but I guess he had done what he wanted with the Stones...
I really think that bill Wyman need to be back with the stones
I don't think he'd agree... :-)
