I'm always somewhat surprised to see Bill in interviews because he's smiling and fairly talkative. He always looked so dour in those old photos. And onstage. Charlie too. I just watched a new interview with Bill about his new book. He's in his 80's now, and still doing fine it appears. (2023) 😻🌹❤
I know you probably recorded the show because of Bill Wyman and rock music, but I'm actually here for Tom Hulce... He is my favourite actor and it's hard to find any interviews on UA-cam nowadays. Thank you for uploading this! 🙌🙌♥
Great Book! "Stone Alone." about Bill Wyman's recollections before and during his life with Stones. The memoirs cover mostly the best years of the Rolling Stones. Amazon still has used ones available at a good price.
Seriously, one of the worst biographies I have ever read. The Stones are still touring & as popular as ever in 2022. Musically, Bill never had much influence on the music. The latest bassist is probably one of the most accomplished bass players out there. Far superior musically to Bill.
@@KimTebrok How young are you? But, about the book, I thought it was great that the book covered the Stones best years...everything before "Exile on Main Street." In the end ...it's all relative. Your opinion is as good as anyone else.....if you actually read the book, that is.
Yeah, he was about fifty in this clip. I'm 50 now and when I look in the mirror I haven't got a clue who the bloke looking back at me is. The way BW talks and the some of his mannerisms remind me of the snooker player Ronnie O'Sullivan.
I think its because in his youth he had the physical signs left over from his childhood food insecurities. He was emaciated. Later on like here he is better nourished. He's only 5 ft 6 and his son just towers over him. Maybe Bill was meant to be bigger.
Bill Wyman looks bored, and I don't blame him. He wanted to talk about filmmaking and book writing, and itoday descends into a talkfest about a band nobody today has heard of. Bill Wyman was/is a phenomenal guitatill frist. Why should he have to sit still for this?
Bill said that Pete Townsend never got hurt, but that's not true - he's deaf in one ear as a result of Moonie putting too many explosives in his kick drum on the Smothers Brothers' show.
He and Charlie were my favorite Stones. Sorry fans, Keith is sometimes funny and even the songs he sings I find the best. But I still can't stand his rockstar moves when he plays guitar and he's not really doing anything, pure glitter.

Bill is like 50 here and looks 35 amazing !
I never gave it a thought, but yes you are spot on, he is 50 at this time, certainly does not look it
Maybe cause of the age of his young teenagers relations :)
@@ScottishTeeVeeIf he was born in 1941 and this interview was in 1986, then he was...45?
At the same time in 85...Keith was 42 and looked like 65 lol
@@stephenhowes8937 Bill was older than the other members he's born in 1936.
I love Bill , so humble and normal.

Stones legends iconic kick ass ❤
Always the concurrently youngest-looking and oldest member of the Stones, Mr. Wyman himself.
look at him now…met him recently here in london. not good
@@reresimone4300 No wonder. He's nearly 90!
I love watching these interviews with Bill because he was so darned good looking at that time. The rest of the Stones leave me cold
He is very youthful looking, something that applies to no other stone, even Jagger for all his fitness, always looked his age.
Sputnik's influence was such that I had never heard of Sputnik the band until now.
I remember that white analogue clock in the corner.........slowly 'crawling' towards school time
🤣
Lord! that’s exactly what I thought, it was the Horror clock!
Bill he is really good bass player
Love Bill Love from Australia

Well I am glad you found and enjoyed this video Stephanie. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
The Stones "Quiet One". Remarkable person.
Thanks for watching and commenting Winston
Brian jones and Bill Wyman is my favorite member of stones🎶🎸💕.
Thanks for watching and commenting Jim
Your welcome sir.✨🙂👍
Both marathon shaggers 😜

Thanks for the info!

Likes them young.....
Ann and Nick - those where the days lol. Watching this makes me feel my age! Not seen this before.
Thank you.
I vaguely remember...i was 4 in 86...when did it change to GMTV ?..around 93?
@@leeturton9254
I’m not certain, ‘93 sounds about right.
ahhh they were the days....
In another land
Had the Mandy Smith scandal come out yet when this interview was filmed?
It was not widely known at this point in time
the one Stone that got better looking as he got older. BTW, I wonder how much product John Taylor has in his hair.
More than Dolly Parton I suspect😊

Charlie looked pretty good, though. M&K are the ones who have aged the most.
Nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
Hard to believe he's just 1 year younger than Elvis Presley

❤❤❤❤❤
Never get anything like this nowadays, civilised conversation. All two minute PR bullshit.
So true Richard. Thanks for watching and commenting
That sweater! Lol
Bill Wyman knows violent concerts. Altamont. 1969. And plenty of destruction in their shows in Holland and Germany in the early 1960s.
Ding dong delicatessen
John Taylor's hairdo shows off precisely how ridiculous any fashion is
Ah, the 80s.
Ringo Voice kkkkk

Keith Richards has had plenty of scores but none of them were about movies
Yeah he scored more than the 2007 Patriots
Violence was around at Stones concerts with hells angels murders
True, but the point is that the other bands were doing it purposely.
Bill said that Pete Townsend never got hurt, but that's not true - he's deaf in one ear as a result of Moonie putting too many explosives in his kick drum on the Smothers Brothers' show.
Not the Stones without Bill. Bill and Keith my two favourite Stones.
However you always could replaced a bassit even easier than a drummer.
Does he really play bas
Dirty Bill 😂. This was round about his sticky fingers period.
Too Young!

If you really think the band is into ultraviolence, you probably need to read a clockwork Orange and get an education
Who the hell cares about Bill Wyman when you've got Anne Diamond looking as scrummy as she does in this clip.
😆. Well as long as you enjoyed something about the video, Im happy.
@@ScottishTeeVee Do you intend on posting more videos of fit women interviewing stars from hit parades past? Not sure whether Paula Yates counts,
Who the hell cares about you?

Women. Women love Bill! He has always been a chick magnet.
Horrible interview
