  • Ever wanted to get into taking film photos? Well this is the video for you! In this video, we take a look at everything you need to know to start shooting analog photography, including how to choose a camera, choose a film, set your aperture and shutter speed, load the film, take photos, take out the film, and get your photos developed.     Great video, guys! I have a Nikon FG too. When there’s two dots in aperture priority mode it indicates that the camera is choosing a shutter speed in between full stops. Thought that’d help others with this camera!

    awesome video! i just got a Nikon FG and had no idea how to use it your vid explained everything from how to load and how to unload! couldn’t understand other intro videos but this one was explained really well and really thoroughly and loved being taken around HK! sub from me!

    i was linked your video after a negative feedback vid, dont know how you managed that but well done, you're going to make it, i like the format, steady cam, smooth transitions, good colours, your music can be smoother (but thats a personal choice), perhaps more say synth-esque and evocative of emotion/attention, still. great job and love it!

    When they came out for sale around 1982 or 1983 they were considered a cheap version. But they’ve lasted decades and were amazing lightweight little cameras that did the job as well as any other.

    I really enjoyed this video. Oh my god that was sooo good! Your friend is so cute and gorgeous ! I hope she is your girlfriend haha.! Such a great and enjoyable video , I appreciate to be with you guys during your walk. I also have Nikon Fg with pancake 50 1.8E and Nikon F4s with 85mm 1.4G , af 50mm 1.4D, 135mm 2.8 ais. She can get later on a 50mm 1.2 or 85mm 1.4 or 1.8 great lenses so far

    IMO The FG is not the best camera to make this video "A Beginner's Guide to Film Photography"
    I think the F2A should be or a matching needle metered camera like the Pentax K100 or similar.
