@JaretCampisi For starters, you stated that this bike is the R6's replacement, which is incorrect. The purpose of this bike is to increase sales and bring more revenue in by attracting daily or your average rider by designing a friendly ergonomics body. The reason the R6 was killed off was because of poor sales and Euro6 Emission Laws. The R1 is on the chopping block. Both bikes are still being manufactured for track only. However, the 2025 model of the R1 does necessarily mark the end of her era. We can see more models in the foreseeable future in the US.
@@ianpizey586 So in a 10 minute video where I'm sharing info off the top of my head I got a couple small things wrong and it warrants a comment like this....so I'm not perfect guys. Trying my best to create informative content for you.
@@vTxnto Well the R6 has been discontinued and that's the bike they used to race in this category that the R9 is now racing in. I'd call that a replacement.
*Not intended to be douchey*- the 2025 R1’s come with Brembo. That was an improvement matching the release of the R9 also finally addressing one of the biggest complaints that bike consistently had- mushy brakes on the track 🙌🏼
WHOA Jaret! A "G" to assist with the purchase of a new bike. What a great give back, much respect. Really, think this is a nice bike. On the looks, it's seems like you sit more in the bike instead of on the bike which to me would be a more secure ride thru the twisties. This, along with the tech and brakes, it's def gonna get some buyers.
Aww, snap! You compared her are three to a scooter!! 🤣🤣 I really had a good time just looking at all of the different bikes they have at Warhorse so if anyone lives in PA or even surrounding areas it’s worth the trip. They have every brand you would want. And JR was super nice to us when we were up there to check out the bacon and bourbon event. The website is easy to use so that you can see what they have available and my guess is that they ship bikes if you’re not local. Two thumbs up.😎😎
@JaretCampisi Adobo Moto a UA-camr made a video a couple days ago and there was a yamaha rep there that said "this R9 is not replacing the R6"....lol. But yeah I know they're discontinuing the R6. It's all because of the climate bs and the European emissions garbage. Hopefully with Trump back in office we can "MAKE MOTORCYCLES MANLY AGAIN".... Thanks for responding kind sir, stay safe
I liked the design on this, perfect for street style riding. Cons: the tail section looks a little off. Again you can see straight through the engine section makes it look more like a 400cc bike 😂
Cool experience to see the new bike, mixed feelings on it🤔 Don’t forget about the Warhorse Blackfriday Campisi Discount….perfect time to gift yourself or a loved one😉🎁🎄
Huh, so a "600 supersport" comparable performance for the every day use. I like it. Not sure it replaces My Gsxr600 which is low tech, but not so comfortable. Mmm, will just have to try one. Nice 890cc triple.
If you are checking in to see if Jaret has learned from viewers feedback to stop making dealership videos, no he has not. The content has been largely the same for the last year: clickbait tagline with Christina in the thumbnail followed by reading a spec sheet for various motorcycles in a showroom. No mention of Dado's absence from the channel over the last 11+ months. Doubling down on this strategy has not been working for channel views/engagement, IMO its time to do something different that resonates with the audience better.
I've always reviewed bikes at dealerships on this channel. Yes they are an official sponsor of the build series and I want to support them but I still share my honest opinions etc.
They probably did that on purpose to try and keep people from putting slip Ones on the bike or taking the calec, convert off and all that. It'll be a lot harder with it being welded like that. You have to replace the whole thing especially with all these new laws about sound and smog and all it stuff. Like I said, they probably did that for that reason.✌🏾
Not the same as mt09. They share the same cp3 engine. But the r9 has tweaks here and there that makes the setup different. Ecu tuned different and frame is different that Mt09
They dont communicated right. These pre-production presentation bikes are based on the race editions, in the Production the hole is gone with some sensorthingy the race bikes dont have. Some people made videos from finished bikes and this was also confirmed at Eicma from a yamaha representative when i asked him there
@JaretCampisi I'm the guy that keeps bugging you about wanting to detail your bikes. I'm a pro. I know what leathers do as well as every day jeans and I also know that human skin acts as an abrasive on paint. It's what I do. Invite me up some time to do one of your raffle bikes and I'll show you everything you never wanted to know.😂
Z900 specs. 123 hp/ more electronics, quik shifter etc. $9999. Compared to r9 at 117 hp less electronics at $12,000 no thank you... also all new engine in the Z... not a repurposed MT 09
It is a show bike not a real racer, better buy a second hand gsxr1000 if you want a real race bike. Looks fine and the options are great but not the strenght of a real racer.

Yeah those were our major complaints as well.
Will have interesting competition in the new Ducati v2 890 Panigale and KTM 990rc.
Yep all made to race against each other!
the r6 will certainly put down faster lap times no question
I got the new MT09 SP this summer and its a fantastic bike which pretty much the same as this R9 engine/tech wise.
Congrats! I have the CP3 in my old XSR900. Great engine!

yeah that's def something I haven't seen before
You said the engine is the r7/mt07 engine, but it's in fact the mt09 engine instead.

It has some nice curves, the bike looks good too 😂
Good thing the hole shown is only on the show model, I like the front tbh, Ill paint it pearlescent green and call it mike wazowski
Jaret, I'm going to suggest that the tail on the R9, sincee it is supposed to be a track/racing bike, is narrower for less drag, better aero.
Hmmmm but how would you explain the R1M tail being bigger?
@JaretCampisi I'm not sure. If it's got more h.p. maybe it doesn't need less drag? Just a hypothesis.
@@JaretCampisiwas the R1m purpose built for the track or as a final iteration for the end of said platform . Those would be something I’d like to know

When will you make a video on the new pani v2?
Not an R6 replacement. Many people said the same thing about the R7. You people have to stop talking out your rear and read up on the facts.
Thanks for mentioning the heights…I thought you were more in the 6’2” range :p
haha yeah I'm not sure why everyone thinks that...
Looks bigger than the r1. But narrower. Wheelbase also seems on the longer side compared to that r1m.
This is no R6 replacement !

Not accurate. That was a rumor of what would happen before the R9 came out. It has since been debunked.
The R1 is still available, they’ve already announced the 2025 version.
Europe will only have the R1 for a race application not for street riders for 2025
