I understand you are rethinking everything, but please remember - Bellie was one of the few dogs to know what it was like to be loved, part of a small but awesome family, with a canine sister and kids to play with - and still have such freedom! She spent her days in paradise, with her family, sunning, funning and running free!

Our vet told me when we had to put down one of our older dogs, "You treat your dogs really good!" That's what I say to you, she had a short but a GOOD life and that came from your whole family! That is why is hurts, because you all loved her. I know you are hurting and that comes from caring. Thank you for letting those of us who have known her since she came to the ranch, know what happened.😢

Tyler, i am so very sorry to hear of your family's loss of beautiful Belly. She was simply incredible. We experienced a very similar loss just a couple of weeks ago. The thing to remember is that no matter how much training you provide to an animal, they are still independent in nature. Dogs are incredibly curious creatures, and sometimes it is to their detriment. We allow these beautiful animals to wrap themselves around our hearts and it is so incredibly painful when we lose them. Our challenge is to try to replace that pain with the remembrance of how wonderful they were and that God blessed us with having them in our lives. We will certainly be praying for your family as you process this terrible loss. And remember little Callie. She is still with you and obviously adores you. God bless you, Tyler.

I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family gave that surprise pup a great life. You can’t protect them from everything. Sometimes stuff just happens. I know that doesn’t make it easier, but keep in mind the life she would (or wouldn’t )have had as an abandoned pup had you not found her. You do an awesome job with your Dog’s. Oh no... I don't know what to say beyond my deepest sympathy for losing a beloved family member. That beautiful pup will always be remembered by us. Your family is in our prayers. Our pets have a large degree of free will that is sometimes impossible to predict. They can decide to chew or eat the wrong thing and it's out of our hands. We can only do our best amongst the busy whirl of our lives. You are one of the least careless persons I've ever watched. Please don't beat yourself up over this tragic accident with endless "What ifs". It can become a torture, that can never undo what happened. BTW: be sure to cut the twine you hung from the new back rubber, so there aren't any loops!

Tyler, I fill for you and your family. A few years ago, my I took my son hunting, and he got his first deer. Happiest day of my life to see his joy. We got home at dark and was pulling in the driveway and didn't see my old black lab and ran her over. So It turned into the worst day of my life. Just my story, and I personally know how it makes the family sad. You are exactly right, though you still have to keep moving and get things done. Sorry again for your loss.

I am heartbroken 💔 and sobbing like crazy right now. Bellie was such a wonderful pup. Watching her grow up here, seeing her & her sister Callie run together with you on the 4 wheeler was a highlight. Seeing her laying in the pools of water cooling herself from the hot sun was just adorable. I cannot yet imagine our lives without her as she is etched deeply into my heart.
My deepest heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family. Allow time for God to heal you all. We all grieve differently. Talk about her. She’s still here in spirit.

If the cloth strips don't work where you don't want the cattle coming through the back rub, tie some 2 x 4s or most anything long enough to do the blocking. Think of this like a rope ladder. Tie them horizontally down to near the ground so the cattle's path is blocked. We made "water gaps" like this where fence has to cross a creek so it doesn't wash out the fence. Be blessed.
