The second you manage to build sympathy for one of the most evil character in your series, thats when you know you’ve nailed the storytelling

I absolutely love this one. I'm so glad you didn't end it on a joke or make Rowan say something stupid at the end. The heartfelt episodes are what make me care about the characters and keeps me watching.

VLDL does that a lot, they know when to get a quick laugh and when not to, as well as when and how to make heartwarming etc vids thats what makes them so great personally speaking
This video is quite special actually because it reminds us of how big of a problem loneliness is.
A lot of people are lonely and hurt - keep an extra eye out for who they are and invite them for a beer next time even if you normally wouldn't.

Just now seeing this video again. Thank you guys for keeping up the great work. I have been able to share my knowledge with a few people and we all work together now as a team. As a manager, the first time I had ever been invited to have a drink with my employees felt similar. I felt some need to pretend I couldn't go because I was busier with more important things. But they kept asking once a week or so, and I finally gave it. Felt good, made me feel appreciated and I learned a lot cool things about most of them.
I wish it was easier to do this with covid all around us :/

That was so heartwarming. That quick glance of understanding between Alan and Adam before Adam gives the beer to Rowan really jumped out for me. And then the humble 'thanks' from Rowan as the gut punch. Fantastic acting, well done.

Woodcutter cutting through the feels was a great palate cleanser but this one closing out with the soft music is so wholesome. We all know Rowan will be back to being a colossal jerk in the morning but for a brief moment in time we get to see a little shred of humanity. When you're making people feel unexpected feelings, you're obviously doing it right. Moar!
The gentle music at the end really gave it a sweet touch for the ending... I loved it !

What a roller coaster of emotions! You are true artists and you're using every colour you have on your palette.
This one always touches the heart. The message I get from it, is that sometimes all you really want is to feel involved. Nice works you guys keep it up.
This kinda throws Rowan into a new light. Remember the awards episode where he gave himself all the prizes, and gave $50 Adam for "longest employee". He actually never won anything, and acutally just gave Adam $50 .
Adam got the prize for "Best hair" though. Not longest employed - that was Alan, who won a charging cable for a phone he didn't have
I enjoyed the shot at the end, with the Playtech's Work, Play and most importantly at that moment, Support. Family. Even if Rowan is like an intolerable older brother.

I saw the twist coming but where you got me was the right at the end where you get a glimpse of a different side of Manager Rowan and how lonely he really is. To make you feel genuine sympathy for a vilenous character like Manager Rowan is absolute top close storytelling and acting. You guys are incredible.

This video was a nice change of pace. It’s funny but also brought out another element to it with a nice morale.
it would be great if the series continues with moments like this and slowly Rowan begins to become a better person from the empathy shown to him by the people around him. All culminating to moments where he begins standing up for his coworkers (comedy moment: like the fax machine but rowan is like WTF meanwhile Allen is like "oh not again!") and eventually to one of those hot tub time machine moments where the crew is like "yeah, he's an asshole but he is our asshole".
