Evening Paul, evening everyone, returned home today from bispham, had a great Christmas, weather was the same all the way home, having loads of trouble with the internet, might be the weather. Sons garden really copt it during the storm in Bispham the other week being a corner drive house, got it from all directions. Got to sort this fly tipping out. Blackpools getting there mate, love the place whatever, great video Paul, cheers mate.

And yes, I can imagine being a Corner house it would’ve taken it from all angles, Hopefully it will get back to how it was :-) it’s a shame about the flight tipping but I guess each town and city has the problems is not just isolated to Blackpool and as you say it’s a fantastic place with many attractions for everybody to enjoy. I live on the border of Cheshire and we have had bad fog for a few days now. Blackpool is my favourite in the winter time. These b&B and hotels need to understand that you can go abroad cheaper than going to Blackpool unfortunately 😔😔😔. Great video 😊😊
hi Denise many thanks for your comments and yes you’re certainly right with that one back in the 1950s and 60s it was very expensive to go abroad so people used to travel within the UK for holidays and Blackpool certainly was the place to be, as you said package holidays and holidays abroad I’ve got a lot cheaper and alongside that you have great weather so people now choose to go away abroad plus with the cost of petrol hotels and entertainment it certainly gets expensive Many thanks to you all very best and take care

Great video Paul.Thankyou.Its been chilly and misty in Hull all day today ,so depressing.I hope the sun soon comes out again.Hope we do not get all the snow the media are talking about next week.I have to rely on carers and if the roads are snowed up it will take my carers a lot longer to get to me.The thing that pee"s me off is that the council treats the main roads but not side roads. But you know the weather forecast they never get it right LOL and you’re certainly right about gritting the road so they seem to do the main roads but forget about the small roads which get very slippy which Everyone starts from again, many thanks. Hi Paul excellent video from the pleasure beach I couldn't see the Pepsi Max because of the fog and it is very foggy in blackpool and the hotel behind the pleasure beach that looks empty was called the Broadway hotel it was a excellent hotel back in the it belongs to blackpool breaks to go and all the hotels where do busy back in the day and where the Hampton by Hilton that used to be called the palm beach hotel they used to own the Balmoral hotel where the Craig y Don hotel knocked into the Balmoral hotel i can see the tower with all the fog the retail park where the odeon cinema is used to be a grey hound track I think and old swift hound pub is gone and now where club 3000 is and can't believe how the area there as changed and the swift hound was like a buy one food and get two for free and the restaurant was called Frankie and Benny's Italian food was lovely and Dickson road as changed and they are trying to make it a nice road and every place in the UK as bad areas and blackpool is a excellent place to come and thanks pal excellent video the information I have mentioned as been helpful thanks pal excellent video take care pal from Keith 👍👍👍👍👍👍

People seem to comment negative things about Blackpool but if they mention where they live I’m sure everyone could find fault with their tunnel. Nothing is perfect sadly. It seemed strange not being able to see the tower. The Met Office is calling it a mist and they`ve forecast it until 2100 hours tonight. It`s just as well an elderly friend of mine has not gone on a trip to Blackpool today. Below, s very funny, but true, story. A couple of summers back she went with a friend on a day trip to Blackpool by coach. In their excitement neither of them bothered to take notice where the coach had pulled in. Later in the day and when it was time to go back to the coach neither of them knew where to go !!! But fear not, my friend Margaret had an idea: she approached a taxi driver and explained their dilema. The taxi driver asked her the obvious question :- "When you got off the coach did either of you notice any landmarks, like a pub, or a retail store ??? "OH YES" replied my friend excitedly: "WE COULD SEE THE BLACKPOOL TOWER" ha ha Hope you all enjoy the humour ❤
