Not trying to ramble on... However Brian Setzer is an absolute genius. Anyone who misunderstands his approach to music is either not a musician... Or a complete moron. An absolute beast on the strings. And a fun energetic version of an extremely strong iconic Rock classic. Thank you Brian and your Orchestra. Every one of your musicians is top-notch every one of your people are right on time trust me I am a musician. I will never be as good as you or anyone in your Orchestra but that was an extremely fun ride
This is really good. The original with Bon Scott is a very tough act to follow, but this nails it! It helps that Phil Rudd gives a bit of "swing" to the original, and this takes it to the next level. As a lifelong fan of Bon Scott and the 'DC, this is great.
I've seen Setzer a couple times here in Austin with the Christmas Special Tour. I can tell you this: Brian Setzer is one of the best guitar players on the planet in his idiom. And he truly loves to play. Fast and clean baby~!!! (Plus he wears cool shoes...)
@@carlmarks8170 LOL ... I PLAYED IT TODAY IN THE CAR .... FORGOT I EVEN STILL HAD IT !!! BUT THEN AGAIN .... I HAVE ABOUT 37 VERSIONS. KEEP ROCKIN BRO !! 🤘🎸🎵🔊
Let there be Swing. When Angus and Malcolm Young went the cross roads; in order to get a deal with the devil, he ask them to come out with a song to seal the deal... Let there be rock!! No matter what band will ever play this song, the audience will always be pleased. Guaranteed!!
I love rock-'n'-roll in all its forms and have been a lifelong fan of both AC⚡DC and Seltzer/Stray Cats. Saying that I am always wary of cover versions of songs l really like as they are often either poor imitations and no where near the mark. This however is fantastic, it's not trying to be anything other than its own thing, swinging it's way through to a great solo from Seltzer at the end. It doesn't miss a beat as it portrays a wonderfully different genre that leaves no real comparison to the original. Of course some will not like it, but to me it exists as its own entity and therefore I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Never thought I'd ever see this. Saw the Foo Fighters version and felt that it was lacking. Now this? I know Brian is an amazing musician and is my second musical influence as a guitarist. My first and main? Angus Young of AC/DC.
Jesus Christ gyes get over yourselves will ya no it's not acdc and believe me I know acdc seen them live over 20 plus times this rocks why because it does brian setzer is one hell of a guitar player it's a great track I'm sure Angus would love it lighten the fuck up

I gonna say something controversial. I love metal I am a metal head, But I move in all genres mainly grunge. I love AC/DC and I gonna say something that will make alot of people angry. This cover was for me better than the original.

Couldn't have said it better my friend Brian is a certified badass!!
He was just pigeon hold in the 80
MTV did not help
The drummer alone is worth the Price of Admission; channeling Buddy Rich!
Ac/Dc wrote a brilliant rock n roll song and seems Brian Setzer loved it. Well done!

This man can give Angus a run for his money. Exceptional guitarist, just like Angus. Fantastic cover of a fantastic song 🎵
Much respect 🙏 👏
Brian's a genius! Somewhere...... Angus is giving Brian a standing ovation.
ac-dc brian setzer, the same roots just good rock n roll i like it.
The horns section is dangerous! The guitar solo is an homage to Angus! I like that tune
Let there be Brian Setzer - and there was Brian Setzer - Let There Be Rock! ❤️💋🍎🎼

Rock this town ACDC style
saw this "orchestra" a few years back-one of the best ever!
Saw Brian in Nashville back in 2014. Still one of my top 5 concerts.
Got to love Brian even having a go at Angus's duck walk.
J'adore ce mec, il nous donne un plaisir musical dément...et c'est très très fort........merci d'exister Brian toi, et tes musiciens...

I think it's cool he did it regardless :)
Setzer is just as great as Angus, but both different styles in the same playfield.
@@Newwaver2007 Oh of course. I loved this version by far as far as covers go.
Hard to get better than an ACDC original. Brian made this his own while honoring spirit.
@@ratso1963mikel Agreed. This is my favorite cover. Even better that Angus and Brian arey two biggest influences in playing.
RIGHT ON BRIAN,!! This was perfectly AWESOME!!!!
Real and such a good cover
You done good! From Us Fest 83' to anywhere anytime rock and roll bad ass.

I'm an Ac/Dc fan for soo loong, but I was blind and now i see :D

Genial!! Suena genial!
That was Badass! Thanks for sharing this one...
It took 17 people to play Malcolm and Cliff's parts, but they pulled it off... well done Brian.
Brian Setzer un grand guitariste avec son grand talent énorme qui vit à fond le rock n' roll comme eddie Cochran
d'accord
Really great. Superbe reprise mais bon je ne suis pas étonné . quel talent Brian Setzer que j'avais découvert avec les Stray Cats.

Let there be Rock; a real ‘classic’. Beautiful solo. Although the rough 2 guitar/1 bas/1 drum version of the original IS THE B.B.BEST

It looks like this may have been early enough for that to be Bernie Dressel on drums. He’s a friggin’ killer.
