Wait. I didn't know these were a thing. My wallet is already weeping I never had Centurions as a kid but always wanted them. I used to use Lego Space figures and plug stuff into them to pretend. In high school I was arranging to buy a friend's old toys but we were never able to settle on it. Guess it's safer to say I've never had Centurions at all
Their based on the 80s cartoon and toys. But their not officially licensed so they can’t be called Centurions. But, yes technically they are the Centurions. These are based entirely on the cartoon where as their first release was a more real world version of the team .
I know they’re going to make the unreleased weapon systems in the original size. But I wonder if they’re gonna make the weapon systems for this scale size?
Prototype or not they look flat and cheap. At least not shiny but still missing washes and texture. Even the face sculpts are soft and janky af. They need a QC correspondent that handles initial 3d models bcz the “good enough” just ain’t good enough.
I feel these came out very good. Not perfect. Still need to refine some Things in their production technique. They feel okay but something about them in hand feels odd. Not a fan of how the engineered the ball joints for the hands and feet. You can’t rotate the wrists with them popping off once you twist half way around due to the sculpt in the wrist area of their suits. Also the ball joints on their feet should have a tighter tolerance to support their top heavy weapons systems. Max Ray in particular. They also lack some good rocker action due to the hinderance of the ankle armor. Outside of those gripes, this is a good release from Ramentoy and makes me eager to see future releases. I’m hoping their Silverhawks line is a home run.
My only problem is that you have to split the helmets to get them on. I'd have preferred a rubber-y material like the original toys so you could put them straight down onto the headsculpt.
I am so the market for these, one of my favorite toys as a kid, but just haven't been able to get excited about them. The headsculpts on these aren't really doing it for me too. Good review though man, nice to see these finally came out too.
Thank you so much for the review video.
Appreciate it and so glad you like them.
You're very welcome! They're fantastic, thank you for making them! I am looking forward to further releases, as well as the Makina line.
Man, I remember watching the show on Cartoon Network, but I can't remember anything else about it. Except: POWER EXTREEEEEEME!
I want them! such memories, hope we can have lots of more accesories and all weapon paks they own
Same, I'm hoping we get all of the armor packs, even the unreleased ones.
I watched the show on cartoon network after the Godzilla cartoon.
same
Question maybe you know when company’s are counting articulation is a double knee or elbow considered two points of articulation??
I assume it counts as two, since it IS two points of articulation, but I can't say for sure.
Ace’s turbines go on the wings and the missiles attach to his wrists in the show
Yea, I was gonna say that to.😅

I wanted these but damn they're expensive. I'm sure they're worth it, I just can't spend that much on figures right now.
The early bird special had them for under $190 with a payment plan. You should have jumped on it.
Are these the centrion toys?

These guys look delicious! ♥️♥️♥️
11:15 Kenner, not Galoob 😉
They were selling just the heads for 20 bucks for Al 3 . Ofcourse it sold out in 5 seconds . Faster than wundar
I’d get these if they weren’t almost 300 bucks
Yeah, the preorder price was much less spicy.
Never had centurions, but I definitely remember the cartoon.
I looooooove them!
I'm excited that Ramen is doing not just the core good guys but has plans to go deep, including Apache. Great video sir. You're a legend
Yeah, definitely looking forward to seeing how deep they go on the line, especially the armor sets.
I pre ordered this 3 pack over a year ago and still haven't received it wtf

I never watched this show but the ads were all over Boomerang and I could just NEVER find it in actual rotation.

Is this the same company that is making new mask vehicles??
Yep!
I clicked on your link above and didn't see them. I gave up looking after a while.
They may be sold out. I think they remove the listings once they're all sold.
@@peaugh I snoozed and I lost. Keep us posted. Cheers.
Classic action figures seem to have that effect on most people.
How do they scale? Nice video!

The original headsculpts were kinda eh, but I'm quite happy with the new ones.
@@peaugh Don't hit me with facts damnit! 🤣
