I prefer using the shack flooring because it only costs 1 wood and covers a larger area. I’ve actually migrated to just building roads with the shack flooring because the monorail is so tedious to maintain/use. 2:00
Shack flooring is not as long, so it's not as distance-efficient

My tip is to place the stairs, and at the top you place a wide floor with pillars, and a ceiling on top of them, as well as a ladder on the side of the floor to give access to the ceiling, then you climb up on it and build
For some reason when I putting the floors down, I eventually get to a point where they won’t build out anymore but it still consumes wood when I try to place it

It happened when I was just getting into the desert biome how about you cause I'm Tryna figure out if it's the biome or not
@@ilikecheeze5110 i had exactly the same but it's not because of the desert. I think it's because it's too far from the first floor you put
@@ilikecheeze5110 its not the biome, its because there is a max length for your builds.
Best way around that I could find is to make a second monorail track that links up with the first one leaving a one-stud gap between them, just make sure not to actually connect the two builds or else one of them gets destroyed from what I've seen.
The reason this happens, is because apparently you cannot build thru more than 2 biomes, 3 is where they say no. The best workaround is to place another separate rail 1 nudge away so it jumps a tiny gap

and the splinters flying off it mean you'll get a few runs then it'll break and you get to build it all over again.

Thanks for the tuto bro but how we can adjust the orientation of the platform. we can see that it goes slightly to the left.
I assume it was done with extra room because ones with wheels break and giving extra space makes it less prone to breaking.
how do you reverse back if i have break the thrusters put it on the other side i might lose my mind
Btw i made same monorail 3 times stretching across 3 biomes with 3 stops and fell off the rail 300 times it took 3 generations to perfect it and in last gen it went flying into anchers and whole rail went down... It broke 1500 worth of wood down and destroyed itself

Yes, I just built one like this using foundation and it broke pretty quick. Would assume this one will too as you can see the animations from the rail being damaged as he goes.

@@TheBBQ5 I've tried every build I found on UA-cam and have had issues with parts breaking aside from a simple one I just put together myself. I just uploaded a quick video showing it.

Is it necessary that the under piece is also a dynamic foundation?
(As opposed to using any other foundation and only putting thrudters on the top.)
Yeah normal foundations don’t move
How do you go the other way
You just build it again with the thrusters coming from the other side. When you are building it, just make sure not to connect the floors, but once it's built, you can put them together, as long as they do not connect by any block

You can prolly build on reverse and add in the thruster mechanics from the cheapest aircraft video he posted. I'll try making something and post if I get results maybe.
Your going to do the same thing but with thrusters and activation switch the opposite way keep a gap in between so they are not touching and activate one side to bump them together and boom you good money or you could make 2 rails like a gondola but that’s more time consuming

My vehicle leaned slightly and broke the whole rail across my map
When I do this it just sticks to the track and doesn’t go anywhere. I have to leave a gap but this allows the monorail to shift to one side.
how do you turn on snap build(like the auto continue thing) pls tell me
If you're on controller hold L2. But regardless if u look at the mid bottom of your screen it kinda shows u what control you have to use.

My floors dont build flush w eachother for some damn reason
Snap mode hold l2 or LT or whatever the game has programmed it will say it at the bottom of the screen on whatever you’re playing on when building

In my survival world I don’t have the wood foundation that you used unlocked, how do you unlock them?

@@mrPixel-ro6jm I have flexwood, but I can’t see the recipes when I press the build menu. My village level is 8 and I’m stacked with flexwood but I can’t build it or find the recipes

It works, but not great. You can see when he hits the switch the smoke and chipped wood coming out bc it rubs the rail. This makes it go slower and you have to continually hit the switch every few seconds
You will still have to hit the seitch even without the friction and its not that bad just tap it and it still is pretty fas
