@LezGoAec I don't understand how minecraft already exists and yet the fortnite devs don't know how to code items to auto stack in your inventory if you pull them from a chest - also I tried making a farm with animals in fences but they just despawned 😢
@toshironikko right???? I hate having to merge items especially in late game lego fortnite. And I hope they add an option in the future like minecraft where you can have a farm of sheep and cows
Another tip. A lot of caves have multiple entrances and exit and at least currently these connected caves has no rhyme or reason to how far their entrances spawn. These connected caves can take extremely far away from where you entered. However this could be useful as a bit of fast travel. You can use the map marker build at each entrance and customize the map icon to match each exit and entrance to show which cave entrance connect to another entrance. Just make sure the map icon isn't the same set as another set of unrelated cave systems so you don't end up confused of which cave goes where.
Something a lot of people don’t seem to know is that the refine wood/stone job isn’t actually refining your wood or stone, it’s actually just giving you wood and stone that’s refined so it isn’t using any of your materials.
Here's a tip I learned. You can make a big visible map marker by dying with nothing in your inventory and then just leaving the backpack there forever.
a good one you forgot, you can give your villagers torches (same way you give them weapons/tools) they will hold it in they're off hand to help light up the night/caves for you
for anyone trying to get the regen charms you can get brute scales from chests in ice caves, and to get in the ice caves easily without freezing you just need 3 rare fire charms, watch out for spiders though
7:30 another tip for this tip is to place a chest and some heals/temp food and even a torch so you can get back to your bag easier and not have to worry about getting away from mobs in pitch black with temperatures killing you and slowing you down 😂
For the people wondering how to get loot from the rainbow you need to emote on it.This is very important because I found one on my first day and I didn't know how to get the loot so it just despawned
Tip for swimming: jump repeatedly to pause buffer your stamina loss. You can cover nearly twice the distance while swimming and jumping vs just nirmal swimming.

Epic should allow us to ask villagers to gather SPECIFIC resources for us, like if I want just one particular resource I can command them to just gather that resource and nothing else, I find myself often not needing ALL the various resources they collect.
@sypherPK, thought I’d add a couple things that people may not know that I just found out and are a huge help. 1. Take stacks of vines if you are farming wool, heavy wool, milk or eggs. If you pet any of those animals it will give you 1 item. If you drop a stack of vines near them (I haven’t tested if it has to be a certain amount yet, but have always noticed it when I drop a full stack of 50) they will give you a ton of extra items. I fed a single chicken a stack of vines and they dropped around 10 eggs. They always show up in 3s so if you can give each a stack and will get triple the amount (plus u don’t have to pet them). 2. Make the grapple hook asap. It comes with 30 shots (actually pulls you, misfires do not count). I didn’t make one early bc they were expensive and you could burn through one in minutes. Trick is to never let it break. Anytime you find a chest or are near one, drop the grapple in the chest and re equip it, it will have all 30 shots back. I’ve only made 1 grapple bc of this. 3. Big thing for me was early on in my sessions I would build stairs to chests. Grapple makes it quicker and safer to get to them. The annoying part is when you go back to caves u have visited and wasted time checking the chests again all to find they are empty or have useless stuff. I find it better to empty the chests and destroy the chest so u don’t waste time checking them again. If u don’t want the items just throw them away somewhere after. 4. I did a little research on others doing testing but it appears each villager has a strong suit as far as tasks go. I.e beef boss is the man for food. He makes better things and quantity than other villagers. Same goes for meowscles, he seems to be a better fighter than others. So looking up what strengths are could help when assigning jobs. I assume this to be true because I had peely helping me farm iron and the like but he may have hit an object once or the course of farming an entire snow cave. He was more in the way than helpful.
To get through long stretches of water, dont move while in the water. Jump up and move forward, and then stop moving once back in the water. Its slow, but if you are stuck somewhere and have to make it across it works
So far I prefer slap juice for the quick heal, berry bushes don’t go away when you pick the berries from your garden so you plant them once and can pick them forever. I grow a bunch of slap berries and make a ton of slap juice with them. They have the same effect as the grilled corn except they can give three bonus hearts which makes them slightly better imo! Snowberry shakes require milk as well, definitely a way better heal so if you have milk make them! But the slaps also give stamina regen which can help you gain some distance and heal more
Cheaper way to level your village; just build campfires. Once you've actually upgraded your village at the totem you can destroy all the campfires and keep your level. Rinse and repeat.
Using torches in a cave is actually not that great because they will eventually dispawn. Id recommend placing candles on the floor, you can craft 1 candle per vine.
I use the short wood railing to put across the access point of areas completely farmed of everything. I also put a single candle in front of chests I already looked at (or break it), 2 if there are things in there of use. 3 if it is a stash to be brought back. I have found my way out of caves and back to good loot spots QUICKLY with those 1 vine candles! I mark caves, with a fire on top and on either side, so I can find them at night easily. Once farmed, I put a red rock map marker by it. 2 fires are placed by the spouts. I've made junctions lit TF up with ladders. Lolol I build walls in the ice caves nearing the cursed wolves, then, build a stair to perch from and shoot arrows. I'm so obsessed.... Lolololk
I just crafted a regen charm right now. I'll have to wait to see just how OP it is. I also have mu tiple frost brute scales and a ton of other stuff, rare stuff too. Game is super fun. I'm pretty sure you can craft a purple axe before getting frostpine. I'm pretty sure I've seen those rare caves too.
Great tip; if you have a grapple and glider, if you use the grapple before you glide you can glide all of your stamina and you won’t take fall damage when you hit the floor. Surprised this tip wasn’t in the video
#41: A great way of extending your swimming time is to keep on jumping in the water. The tempo with which you progress stays the same, but you get to go 2-3 times the distance compared to just swimming. Combine this with using small rocks in the water to replenish your stamina and you can actually swim pretty decent distances.
If you take the advice of moving your base near a desert right away, be aware that the enemies will be a lot harder, enemy toughness is based on how far away you are from the original spawn. Also if you place your spawn point inside of a cave, you will respawn in the middle of a random desert super far awy.

Thanks. We've been struggling with the TNT bombers in the lava caves. This guide will come in handy. A tip about the ramps...build them in a helical formation (always left or always right). This makes them rise much quicker. It's annoying to always be running in circles, but you can build them very high up and then create launch pads at the top. We do this in combination with cabins/grills, so that we always have someplace to sleep while we explore different areas (we typically build these combos on high hills).
Tip #26… instead of torches place down campfires it doesn’t cost much wood plus it’s a lot of wood throughout the cave so you’ll pretty much never run out.. PLUS campfires a WAYYYY brighter
The longer you go in between collecting resources/food from villagers the better. I came back to my base after a few in game days and found my food guy had made some of every food type I could make. Even pizza.
After playing for over a month I have to say it has been great building towers between villages in different Biomes to help move faster between villages. Brightcore ore becomes more & more rare as you keep using it to make Copper Bars & Iron Bars which requires 2 Brightcores when using the Metal Smelter. Copper Bars and Iron Bars are need to make rare wood axes or pick axes.
Here's my tip: If you have to travel far between your village and and a spot to farm, build a bed and a chest near the farming location. Fill up on the stuff you are farming, then put your pick axe, seord, shakes etc in the chest. Sleep in the bed, then run back to where you are refining material. Drop all the farmed resources there, then build a tall tower and jump to your death - you'll be instantly revived at the farming location with the materials you need, and you'll have a huge back pack marker to help you get back to your base after the next fill up.
The charms temp charms are just as good for health as the other charms. So unless you have a immortal charm or a health regeneration charm you might as well equip 3. That's what I do in the desert, because it the caves still get too hot and I don't want to have to constantly drink/heal.
Yeah, even if you go inside and come out. I mark all caves by a rock symbol, and the color by what kind: green for grasslands, orange for lava, icy blue for frost. This is especially helpful when they are near biome edges.
No mention of grappler for mobility? Its as useful as the glider. You can reset the grappler count by placing it in a chest and taking it back out. Great to farming rough amber and getting to read to reach places in caves. Also you can run away from enemies if you're low on health.

If they make lava super dangerous, then they have to add some similar environmental threat to ice biome caves, which are supposed to be more challenging. They kind of screwed themselves over by having ice be the final biome, since there isn't a reasonable environmental hazard to out-damage lava.

Another tip is for some reason the durability doesnt come into account when giving it to a follower so i just give them my purple tools when they are about to break.
Best way to play is to have 2 main bases and many mini bases around the map. That way you can way waypoints and rest to reset near where you die if you go somewhere far from your last 'checkpoint'.
