I'm exited for more all ships matchmaking but I'm also seeing people freaking out with it. Mostly because of RP players but some others thinking that any sort of ship merging is bad because "it makes new players think that the game is dead."
But news flash: there's currently a average of 1.5k players on steam and I don't think there's a lot more on epic and consoles. At this point making a mega ship and giving every player a chance to transfer to it might be the best idea.
I guess we'll have to wait and see.
I don't get how Cross-ship play would imply that the game is dying since, they literally said that it's an evolution of the function in Classic with additions like being able to transfer Meseta back to your ship after a Quest. To me, at least, it's weird that the function doesn't already exist.
All of this is what I need and second I went and switched my main from slayer to force and I'm more comfortable with tech
Addressing tech weapons may require changes that affect all of them, as well as changes to individual weapons, so I wouldn't be surprised if they said it was harder to work on, but that would only be a guess at this point. I'd kill for something like Phantom Rod to come back. I've just been messing with Sward (Sword/Wand) in the meantime.
3:48 Huh, a Golden Falz Elder? Never thought I'd see that sight, but it does show they're putting Ruinas into other content. :)
I really like the look of the addition to Leciel here. I like the idea of a dangerous enemy hunting you down like that. Hope it plays out well. Given it's a trial, I wonder if that replaces the Fortross, or if it's an extra trial, since they mentioned a 'powerful buff' if you defeat it, but that language could also just be referring to the usual level 2 star buff.
Yeah doing something with the tech weapons would be pretty tough outside of bumping up numbers, so I could see them not doing anything with those until the ladder part of the year
I'm looking forward to the cross-ship play and augment transfer. I never look forward to the 4 Person superbosses since they always suck. I also find the idea that they won't increase the Accessory Cost limit bullshit, since there are very few accessories with a 1 Cost, while most require 2 or more, and the "Its for cosplay" excuse is total bs. It was a solid Headline, though.
I recently started trying the Jet Boots (IDK if I have mentioned on one of these videos before I switched to Fighter/Bouncer) and honestly haven't been impressed with the Techniques. They feel like a chore to use and aren't very effective. Honestly, if it turns out that i have to be a glass cannon to wring any real effectiveness out of thrm, i will probably just not use them. I also have actively moved away from Slayer, since apparently I'm expected to be a glass cannon to use it and can't get any help on an effective strategy for Slayer/Fighter other than either don't use it or get one shot by everything and accept the idea that I deserve death for not playing the meta.
I can understand them not bumping up the max cost when you consider this community and certain... propensities of theirs. Yeah I can see this being irritating for the average player though.
@@Zeomantic IDK about average, but I find it irritating that if I equip 2 Super Sonic Auras and two Iron Shoulder Guards, I can't equip the Siren Wings and one of the the Super Sonic Aura isn't big enough to mimic what I want it for, but yet supposedly there are enough 1 Cost accessories that people like me, who try to mimic their own created characters get shafted. Though, I might be a special case since I would also require different hair colors with the changes, and supposedly doing that would "weaken the need for Salon Passes" or something. IDK, it sounds like noise like the idea that Encore Jump is actually an invaluable ability.
Wait the new weapon potential was discussed?
The 11-star? I think they said it boosted damage for a while after a PB.
If they want to reduce the number of Slayers and increase the number of Hunters, Force and Techters... Nerfing a Hunter Tech Arts Customization and ignoring tech weapons stuff is not the way to do it. I wouldn't be surprised if memes mocking the team crop up much more...
Like, -Picture of a Shiba in a Sega Employee Uniform: We need to make more people play these under-used classes. -*-Nerfs the stuff that was making a really under-used class become more used and completely ignores the need to improve other classes weapons resulting in even fewer players playing those under-used classes.-*
-Second picture of the same Sega Shiba, this time with tears running down the cheeks: Why are these classes being used even less? Why are they playing Slayer so much? Do you players hate these classes? Why player base, why?-
Aside from that, and the stuff in the 3rd anniversary I can not wait to not have complete sets of before the event ends, I agree, it was a pretty solid headline. They are doing some good stuff, but it makes what they did before so puzzling... Why'd it take so long to remove region restrictions for combat zone and gathering tasks?.. Why did they decide with the third anniversary after a year and a half of restricting seasonal points to certain regions to lift that again? Were they really that sickened with sweets to be that baby brained for so long?..
The reason removing the Zone restrictions so late could have something to do with how Neusen Plant is, since there you can get materials from every combat sector, meaning that Rank 4 Neusen Plant is probably going to be insane, as well.
I could believe that
ship matchmaking is a great addition to this dying game. now if only they would smash the jp and global servers together. game still is not worth my time. maybe next month ill relogin.
As cool as that would be, I think they said international gambling laws prevent that. I'm sure they could find some sort of work around though. Would be like PSO on consoles back in the day
