I gotta ask, why is your salicylic acid labeled as up to 100.5% pure?

My guess would be that it contains salicylic anhydride. Glacial acetic acid is made by adding acetic anhydride to already concentrated acetic acid. Therefore it might be the same with the salicylic acid.
