    It's good to note that the emerging therapy on balding is definitely taking a new dimension on targeting the specific culprit creating baldness. 👍

    Please, please, please, talk more about mesotherapy. I think my doctor here in South America has never done a treatment based only in the use of mesotherapy, without any oral alpha reductase blocker. She said I will be doing mesotherapy each six months, but you guys said 2 months and maybe it is because two months is the ideal frame when mesotherapy is the only technique being used as a treatment. Please, talk about this. I may suggest my doctor that I will be doing it each two months. She will agree.

    Hi Dr, I’ve been following you lately about this interesting topic. I totally now understand the difference between hair loss and shedding. However, I just wonder is there a thing called seasonal shedding, For example end of summer and fall? I know this is not Telogen effluvium, and could only relates to season or perhaps the hair enters the Telogen cycle in this specific time of the year. I would love if you can shed more lights on that topic. Thank you.

    Hi doctors, thank you for all the valuable information. I have a question: In regards to Finasteride frequency: in your previous video you said taking Finasteride daily "makes no sense" due to its long half-life. But you also say that when customizing the dosage "you may need to be more aggressive in the therapy." My question is: do you ever come across a patient that actually requires 1mg Finasteride/day, or 7mg a week? What is an example of "being aggressive with therapy" when it comes to Finasteride?

    • @stevewise1656
      @stevewise1656 Рік тому

      I've seen several hair loss dermatologists and they all recommend 1mg a day. Finasteride remains viable/works for approximately 24 hours or slightly less, so taking only a handful of days a week could be risky. I was only able to stabilize with a minimum (my doctor has me on more than 1mg a day) of 1mg.

      You can buy pyra online already. Is it supposed to only block the androgen receptors most related to hairloss? Or would it mess with the expression of androgens throughout the body resulting in feeling Low T?

    • @sausagelizer4444
      @sausagelizer4444 Рік тому +1

      @@JulesLife ok, first don’t buy pyralutimide from 3rd parties because they can’t recreate the same compound as kintor, so it won’t be effective against hairloss. Now to answer your question, pyralutimide is a topical with a great safety profile. It doesn’t go systemic meaning it only works locally on the area it’s applied on. So since you’re only supposed to apply it on your scalp there is no reason it would affect androgens anywhere else on the body

    I had a hair transplant back in 2005. The procedure went well and the hair growth wss good. After about 5 years i noticed dry skin with a group of hairs clumped together.. it wss very odd. I didnt lose much but it definitely affected thd density. I dont know if that' was my native hair or yhe transplanted hair. I really have never recieved any explanation for this.. I started on oral finistride in 2018 and used it until 2023 and noticed ths hair thicknesses inproved and less shedding. I stopped oral finistride and started topical minoxidil and finistride. Its been about 5 months but i havent seen the sams results as oral finistride and I'm not sure i will. Any thoughts on why the dry skin and hair fall after the hair transplants?? I still have maintained much of my hair but the density is poor.

    Guys, I have 6 bottles of Minoxidil on my table and too scared to use it. I have heard that once you start Minoxidil your hair can become dependent on it to such an extent that once or if you stop taking minoxidil you will be MORE bald than you were to begin with. In other words, that prexisting hairs that werent yet balding at onset of Minoxidil treatment, will be pushed into otherwise avoidable (when paired with other treatments) balding stages once you stop taking Minoxidil. Can you confirm or adress this topic?

    I have a question, I use minoxidil 2% once a night and for the last 19 days and it makes me really lightheaded the night of and following day (but my shedding has slowed down already) could I still get some benefits if I used it every other day? to help remove the light headedness?
