One thing I love about this game is how the building in this game has given me a deeper respect and understanding for geometry. I also love watching your journey in this game as someone not really concerned with building, to kinda getting your feet wet, and now, putting out straight build videos. Keep it up! The rabbit hole gets deeper! Also, fanfuckingtastic score!
@@WafflesGamesProbably I mean, who really is though? Is there a certification board for Valheim Architecture? If so, then whodat? If 'mastery' is attained through experience, I've heard that 10,000 hrs. is what's required to become a master (while I think this hypothesis has some credible points, it's still highly subjective, and thus, hogwash), and who has that much time in this game?!. I can count on 1 hand the people I would consider 'master builders' in this game. All you can do is obsess over it (building, not the process of obtaining mastery) and slowly build your toolbox, or just say 'fuckit', and continue doing your own thing anyways. Both are fine, as its all about how you, the individual, enjoy the game. Sorry for the wall of text response.
@@MrSageOlorin I too subscribe to the "10k hours is kinda horse shit" mentality. Mastry doesn't come with a specific number of hours, but consistent experience and dedication. And yeah master builder is quite a title! I'll take "not terrible fighter" instead.
you know the way u speak in your videos seems natural and like that ur relaxed other than usually youtbers get so much (too much energy) when they talk
I'm glad you enjoy it! I absolutely hate over the top UA-camrs and I'll never bring that to anything I create. I can get excited but I'll never join the overdone train.
"I know, but you have to admit it's quite lovely." "Sir it reduces visibility and therefore makes it.hard to see threats..." "Admit it's a lovely tree, soldier." "Ughh...okay its a lovely tree...but..." "Now hug it!" "..."
@@WafflesGamesProbably “Well, yessir, it is a lovely tree (even if it does look exactly like every other oak tree on this Odin-forsaken realm), but the men have discussed it and we feel like your aesthetics are going to get all of us killed. We’re going to go work for the Viking on the neighboring island who’s discovered a stonecutter and actually cares whether his men can survive a troll attack. Sorry, sir - best of luck!”
Oak tree was a very nice touch
I think so!! Thanks!!
