Oh, Cara thank you for teaching Quinn bible verses and reading her bible stories! I wish more Momma's did that for their children. Train up your children in the Lord and when they are old they will not depart from it! I love her little personality starting to show. hi Cara, I think you are such a good mom! I think it is super great that you read to Quinn so young and I can tell she loves it and she is very attentive to watching and listening. It is also great to have routines and she will appreciate that and thrive. Quinn is a little beauty and you are doing a fantastic job juggling it all and filming, editing and everything else that comes along with mom life....

I’m just now catching up on your videos since I had my baby girl Eden 3 weeks ago. :) I started watching your videos right after I found out I was pregnant with her. I love your short hair and Quinn looks so grown up! She is adorable! We got the Vtech Digital Video monitor with Remote Access and Two Cameras from target. We really like it so far. It’s so nice having two cameras because one can be by her crib and one by her Mamaroo without having to move them all the time. And since we’re going to have more kids we figured we will need multiple cameras eventually anyways. The remote access is also nice in case I don’t have the monitor part with me and just want to check in on her quick. Or my husband can check in on her once in awhile while he is at work, or if we’re away and she has a baby sitter.

I was watching an old episode of hapa family and Ashley talked about a montessori toy for babies that I adapted for my son's play frame. Instead of hanging a ring on elastic from the ceiling I hung it from his frame, it's now his favourite thing!

I have been using the Vtech baby monitor and I love it! The picture is pretty clear and it’s easy to use as well. It also has a good range too, if your outside doing something I haven’t had a problem with it at all.

Here is something you should try for breakfast... of any time at all. Toast with mashed up avocado with Garlic salt in it, and sliced grape tomatoes on top. It is delicious!

Can you let us know if you find a decent monitor lol, because I have bought two different ones and they both don't keep connection, or very poor quality of picture 😕, but expensive so idk!

I just want to let you know it is fine if a baby rolls on their stomach whenever they sleep! As long as you put them in their crib on their back, every way they'll end up is considered safe since they move to that position by themselves! :) But I completely understand you want a monitor, I plan on buying one for the longest time aswell and my baby turned one in august :") But since we are expecting our second in january, I really want one by then!
Oh and I want to mention the sleepsack or compression Quinn wears while sleeping. As soon as a baby turns 6 weeks/shows signs of rolling the AAP recommends to stop swaddling. Compression/tightness around the chest is considered swaddling so this should stop by then too.
Ofcourse you should do what you feel comfortable with but I never knew about this before and I stopped swaddling way too late because of this.. So I want to share the information with you because I wish I knew about this earlier! :)
I am due next month and have a 4.5 year old. I am so glad to see a video of a Mom that uses bottles, same as I did! It feels more relatable LOL.

I so wish I lived where you do where the weather is nice and cool enough to sit outside. Here in Texas in July and August is so hot it could literally melt your face off!!
We have the Arlo baby monitor and love that it can be part of a larger home security system too.

Such a cute video. So interesting seeing morning routines, or routines in general. You are so productive, you get so much done when Quinn is napping! She seems like a really good napper! So incredible that she falls asleep all on her own! The way she takes her bottle is adorable. Your such a great mama, Quinn is lucky to have you! For baby monitor recommendations, I still highly recommend the Motorola one we have that I've told you about, it's such a clear image and it comes with two cameras so we have one over the pack 'n play and one over the crib. I so wish I could enter the giveaway, but no Instagram. Hope all is good and well.

Don’t waste your money on WiFi dependent monitors that link to your phone!!! Trust me, at some point you will run into connection issues (my sister went through 4 monitors). They finally switched to Infant Optics and LOVE it. They said they won’t ever use another brand. I think it’s really good picture quality (I’ve used it babysitting) It only talks between monitor and camera, you can add another camera if you want or put a wide angle lens on for when you need the whole room view. Holds a good charge! Check out the reviews on amazon :)

We use the infant optix and its amazing. Great quality, talk back, temperature and if you email them your review they will send you a free add on camera. I tried the lollipop and didn't like it being on my phone. The bluetooth would cut out and the quality was bad.

I remember watching your vidio when you first went and saw her in the hospital weighing 3 pounds I think but her hands was so whittle now she is grabbing at the book and rolling over she so cute.

Oh, I got a video baby monitor from walmart. I'm not going to recommend it, because it's not the best. But some things I've learned since having it.
I do really like having it on a separate device as opposed to having it stream the video to my phone. I often use her nap times to play on my phone, and I like being able to glance over and see that she is ok without having to switch apps.
The one I have requires the camera to be connected to a cord and plugged I to the wall. This absolutely sucks as the cord is not very long, and limits where you can put it. Also, the camera is not very sturdy, and we had to tape it to keep it in place.
It has a few features like two way mic, music, temperature, etc. Personally, I've found that the temperature is not accurate. I don't use the mic, and my voice gets muffled if I do anyway. And the music drowns out the baby, and I have a noise machine for her anyway, so that's an unused feature.
It has night vision, which I would say is a must, so that you can keep the room dark and still see the baby.
The handheld device connects via bluetooth, and the battery lasts for quite a while, so I can take it outside with me in the backyard and still keep an eye on her.
These are all just things I've experienced so far with my baby monitor.

It’s from target. Swaddle me brand :)
I have the Motorola Comfort 75 monitor and it works great. Its pretty inexpensive and gets the job done. I'm able to see and hear my daughter perfectly. I also like that it doesn't use WiFi, that way if our internet goes down we can still use the monitor.
