"I've just contradicted everything I've said". Nice! Instead of simply editing that section out you poke a little fun at yourself. You're not only informative with your videos but entertaining as well. Of course, it doesn't hurt either that you're filming in an absolutely breathtaking location. Keep up the good work, please
omg, that place was gorgeous! The over the cliff shots made my stomach sick. I used to fly paragliders - this also made my stomach sick. Good, healthy respect for atmospheric turbulence. It turbulence can jack a 747 around, imagine what it can do to a 200lb pilot dangling from a flying sheet by tiny strings. Thanks for the tips, making me sick, and the wonderful production. Even if it was a tutorial with you yacking all the time, the scenery was among the best I've ever seen. I wish I lived in Europe. There is so much really old history, beautiful castles and villas, mountains, oceans...
I’m using the DJI Air 3 and this weekend might be my first real test of active track. I’ll be doing some graded scrambles and this video is brilliant for giving me ideas!
Golly! the view from the top of the peaks look like some Martian landscape(not that I would know for sure what it would look like on Mars). Simply staggeringly beautiful👍👍
As someone who just bought his first drone (a Mini 3 Pro), I really appreciate the info you've provided on your channel. This video is absolutely fantastic and very informative. Definitely going to check out your courses once I get comfortable with flying this thing. I just wish I had scenery like that to work with (and enjoy)...!!!
Amazing tip! I haven’t seen anyone else on YT suggest using the ground as the POI. Your shots looked more cinematic when the focus was on the ground rather than on the human subject. I think this tip will become standard for most pilots after watching your results. Excited to try this out next time I fly.
Thanks! POI didn't track the subject when it came out so the subject tracking was an exciting addition. It's really useful but it can also be better without. Cheers!
You've provided a lot of value in this video that's above and beyond the cookie cutter drone how to videos. Usually don't subscribe to anyone but subscribed to your channel
HI Guys, After flying Drones and RC helicopters for more years than I care to remember, Im always blown away when I learn something new and you, Stewart...Blow it out of the park every time, Im currently back with a mini 3 Pro as it beats everything else hands down especially travelling everywhere by Motorbike. Cheers Buddy.. keep it flowing.
Fantastic video and love all the wisdom and tips to make Active Track really work! Would love to see everything fully "cut" together to tell your story of hiking up this mountain!
New to drone photography so I'm watching many good channels and videos on this topic. Just stumbled across this video and its on another level. You've way surpassed what I've seen. You've kept it simple and informative and showed me what's possible with some basic moves and my inspiration. Instant subscription and ill be catching up on all the other videos.
One word .... Stonking! Wish I'd had a Mini 3 Pro during my hillwalking days in Scotland. Inverpolly is simply stunning and your footage proves it in spades!! Great advice as usual :)
Your POI focus trick is fabulous and the best tip I’ve seen in a while! Thanks! I actually don’t have the Mini 3 though. I’ve got the Mini 2 but I’m going to try your tip of focusing on an object and walking into the frame when using Quickshots. I’m sure it will work! Thanks again.
Magnificent location and magnificent cinematography. Thank you Stewart for one of the best drone videos I have ever seen to date. This will be bookmarked for future reference.
Great video I'm glad I stumbled upon. I've had a few different drones over the years, and my DJI Mini 3 Pro has been my favorite. I would maybe suggest if you're doing circles on a hill, I would start on the uphill side so it has a lesser chance of hitting the ground. That's my 2 cents anyway.
These are some excellent simple tips which will make the drone game far superior. There is a fundamental idea you revealed about drone photography to show as how an object moves from location A to B.
Love your stuff. You are a real class act. The overall impact of your videos puts you head and shoulder above all of the other channels I follow (and I love them all). In just 2 words, ‘experienced professional’ and it shows!
YESS !!! Thank you. exactly what I was looking for . I have a 3500 km bike tour coming up and this is the type of shots I was envisioning. Thanks a ton
Absolutly Amazing video. I am following you from a few years since i got my mini 1. Helped me to improve. I am wating my mini 3 and this feature Is the One i am most exting to use since i often film alone early in the morning. Such an Amazing way to use It. Thanks so much.
Using ground as POI, genius idea! Much smoother results..

Thank you for the kind words and support!
You beat me to it. Love the comments and content Stewart. Can’t wait for my Mini to arrive this week. I’ll try not to contradict myself 🤣
Beautiful shots up there in the mountains.
These shots are really something, when the drone is smooth it looks so good. Selecting the ground is a really good tip
Genau die richtige Location für solche Aufnahmen!! Davon kann ich in Deutschland nur träumen ! Super Video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You turn these instructional videos into beautiful poetry. Thanks for another great production.

That was awesome. Stuff I would never have thought of. Thanks 👍
Awesome video, full of great info, thanks 1k !!
The view from the top was spectacular. It was windy, I guess you took a lot of batteries with you for the drone.
It's weird how good a drone video is when it's not about range tests and battery life. You guys are in a league of your own.
Ha, thanks Andrew! Yes, time to move one from range tests!
Wow! I'm in just in awe of the beauty of the Scotish Highlands. Thank you for revealing your pro tips
What a fantastic video. Learned a lot with this. Just hope I remember it. 👍🤜🤛

The spotlight pointing on the ground is literally the best tip I have ever heard of. Thank you 🙏🏻 And what is that amazing place? Where is this? 😮
Cracking vid! Thanks, as I was struggling with these modes.
Here's two words from the dictionary you can use to describe your video...WOW! Thank you
Great informative video. Also have my heart raced a bit at the end of the circling when the drone was going to hit something.😂
Awesome stuff! Very inspiring, we are going to be visiting Scotland in May and hopefully I will be able to get some cool shots like these! Thank you!!

Crikey! I came for knowledge and my attention kept drifting because of those views! Great color by the way, I always have trouble with DJI's log.
The location was out of this world. Where was that? and thank you for the amazing tips
