Ahh the late night grind. I have my mid term next week as well so what I usually do is that I fall asleep with head on the table lol. I take a nap this way and then get back to studying and grind for as long as I can. Works everytime 😂
Table naps hit different for sure. Good luck with your midterm!
As a proud alumni, I will like every video you post.

Thank you! Best of luck!
@9:25 bro sleeping beside you is so real😂
Literally me off camera💀
Jaycity never misses 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks bro🫡
Bro studied for Stats while Bus 27 making 10 laps in front of him already lol crazyyy, shout out from ActSci
Thanks Thái, shout out from eng to ActSci
Dude I was literally cubing while watching this video. I think I could race your friend Ryan and it would be pretty close 😂
That’s sick! What’s your typical ao5?

I've been to a few of the same comps with you before
2:13 bro is playing clash of clans
Bruhh😂
In your opinion what would be the best laptop for an upcoming engineering student?
Also I love your videos, and just wanted to let you know that you are one of the main influences that led me to choose to study engineering, keep it up!!!:)
Thanks for the support! It's fantastic to hear that my content has inspired you to pursue engineering! In my opinion, I believe touch screen Windows laptops (with decent specs) where the screen can flat on itself with pen support would probably be the best laptops for engineering students (but not Surface Pros or Surface Books). I don't personally have one, but the Asus Zenbooks seems to fit the bill. If other viewers reading this comment have suggestions, feel free to pitch in as well!
@@JayCity yeah okay I was thinking of going with the surface studio 2 as well. Thanks again man, I really appreciate it.
I’m a third year mech eng at Guelph keep going brother
Thanks! Good luck with your final years of eng
I missed the old days when i was mechanical engineering student
Nice video you posted
Love your vids
Already missing the late night eng grinds at ACEB 😥
waiting since so long .....
Heyy Jay,
Okay so firstly I gotta compliment you on the filming, the b-rolls, shots are so cinematic, high quality production fr!!
Secondly this is a long shot but I'm between jobs and really trying to get out there and gain more experience, I was wondering if you'd be down for me to subtitle your videos I'm flexible with payment, so feel free to compensate whatever works for you.
I'm okayy with emailing you a sample subtitled clip from one of your own videos to show you my work!
Let me know bro, you could really help me out!
Hope to hear from you soon!
Best,
Rushabh.
Hey Rushabh, thanks for the compliments! I'm not looking for someone to subtitle my videos at the moment, but thank you for your offer. For more business inquiries, you could email me at jasonn.ng.410@gmail.com. Thanks!
oh sick nice
Please do an everyday carry vid
Noted👀
hello
"I am a mechanical engineering student in Iraq, and I am so excited to see your video. Can you describe your curriculum shortly, I mean, in your whole four stages with a small video? Also, I want to know if you study programming, Arduino, and PLCs."
best wishes
Las sardar
Hey, thank you for your inquiry. I’ll definitely take this into consideration
@@JayCity thats great thank you
❤❤❤❤❤
The statistics content looks so simple, can't believe this is a senior course😂
ofc bro, they're not actsci/stats/data sci department stats bruh
Nice video
Thanks!
9:30 the person sleeping💀
Hi Jason! I just had a quick question about your laptop of choice. I was interested in going into engineering and I was wondering if a macbook would be okay instead of windows(due to preference). If so, what specs for the macbook did you select? What would you recommend?
Hey, that's a really good question. A MacBook isn't preferred in Engineering because there are several engineering apps that only run on Windows, like SolidWorks, Microcap, and LabView. So if you could only get one laptop, I would highly recommend going with something Windows. However, it is indeed possible to run Windows via Window's Parallel and run *some* of the engineering apps, but not all of them. In the case that you can't run an app on your Mac, you could use a school computer lab for those times. If we decide to get a Macbook get something with at least 16GB of RAM, and if you're thinking of running Windows Parallel on Mac, then get at least 32GB of RAM. Any M series chip should be powerful enough for your needs, but a more powerful one will make things run more smoothly, so that's up to you to decide based on your budget. I personally have the M1 Max and 64GB of unified memory, but it's only cuz I'm a content creator and actually need that power. For everyone else, my Macbook is definitely overkill lol. I hope this helps!
I want to purse physics i am in my final year of high school I have been watching you since 2021 I love your videos
Thanks for the support! I hope physics works out with you!
@@JayCity I am preparing for entrance exam if I don’t get into good uni of physics I will purse mechanical engineering the do ms in physics
@@JayCity does western have scholarships for reducing fees I want to apply to uni in Canada and uk
Yeah western definitely does, if you search up Western University entrance scholarships some results will pop up, I hope this helps!
@@JayCity thanks
bro do you experience back pain? if you do, what do you often do to relieve it? 😭
Yeah sometimes, I put icy hot patches, heat pads, stretch, and pray lol
thanks. will try some heat pads
Hello, Amazing video ! what is the name of the application you are using to sync what you write onto the ipad and appear on the laptop in 11:29
i meant 10:29
Thanks! That’s Microsoft OneNote
@JayCity thank u so much wish u the best, engineer
hey man just wanted to ask if this would be different compared to college, cuz i’m attending conestoga for engineering and just wanted to know if this would be similar somewhat
Heyy Jason, I have a question. What type of IPad do you have?
I have the original 2015 iPad Pro 12.9 inch. That thing’s ancient 😂
The most unrealistic part of this vid is that an engineering major went to an optional lecture 💀, otherwise great vid man
Lol
