DIY wood and acrylic bead garland with tassel

I love creating diy home decor so today I decided to finish my wood and acrylic bead garland. This diy string bead garland was so easy to make except for the acrylic ice cube pieces were a huge headache to drill the holes through.
This video shows you how to make glam wood and acrylic (wooden/acrylic ice cubes) bead garland and tassel. This tutorial is really fast and easy to follow. I really love bead garlands and wanted to put my own glam twist to it by adding acrylic ice cubes to the garland. This beaded garland is great for styling and adding charm to your glam living room or family room. I'm always looking for home decor with acrylic or glass in it and when it's too expensive or I can't find what I'm looking for then my choice is to DIY!
You can use this easy tutorial on how to make a wood and acrylic garland to make other colors and designs for year-round. You can follow this tutorial to customize your own Wood Bead Garland. Wooden beads are very popular in home decor styling they are a very simple, quick, and inexpensive DIY home decor project but adding some type of acrylic beads takes them to the next level of glam and chic.
When choosing to make a wood and acrylic bead garland, you need to consider things like making sure your acrylic ice cube isn’t to small in conjunction with the wood bead sizes you’re using. My spray paint of choice is Rust-Oleum to achieve a beautiful, smooth, and even finish on your beads. I chose square and round wood beads to give my garland a unique look because that is what I do on my glam DIY home decor channel. I love this project so much I’m going to make a glam Valentine bead garland to hang on my wine bar cart for the Valentine's season.
DIY #2 is a beautiful mirror given to me by my Christian sister I used chrome spray paint to paint the frame and the half-round balls that I used as legs under the bottom. This mirror tray is so glam and looks high-end on my coffee table.

I started this project a long time ago I'm not sure where I purchased the wood beads from but I'm sure you can find similar ones on Walmart, Amazon or Temu. The ice cubes were purchased from Michaels and I drill a hole through them. White ribbon, yarn, and spray paint can be purchased anywhere you buy craft items.

I've never made a tassel before. Thanks for sharing this method! I saw somebody else use the same method to cut mesh ribbon for a wreath. She just cut at each end of the cardboard and had all her pieces to tie onto her wreath form in a matter of minutes. Your garland turned out super cute!! It will be perfect for St. Patrick's Day decor!!! Tfs 😊❤️
