good review Pierre..rode 30,000 miles the last 15 months with my NTX, when I want something more agile I ride my beloved ( lighter 2000 Cagiva Gran Canyon,,now at 95,000 miles) Go Italy twin
Wow thanks Alain! I had a Cagiva Gran Canyon as well, 90.000 kms and ZERO problems! What a great bike, I still miss her! There are still videos of the Canyon here on the channel, give it a look!
Hello, it's a nice bike. I have a Guzzi V11, nice too. For get more power to low rpm have you tried to close bypass air on ignition and increase minimum adjustment? May be is better, so was for my Guzzi. Regards
Nice review. I'm studying all sport touring bikes in Jordan, and this Stelvio got my attention. Your video is very good and gives ideas about it. I like the high quality this bike has and generally "Moto Guzzi" high standards in building bikes. At first search for a bike I always liked the japanese, but now I started to like this italian style and grade. I trust it will be of high quality ride and no-problems fun. Thanks for such a nice review. Keep it up.
+blu dree I have a GS Adventure myself, and I love it, but sometimes, I just feel the need to ride the Stelvio...I actually love them both, especially because they are very different!
Hey diamonddog257! Hmmm. Honestly, that's new. I haven't heard anything in regard to a discontinuation of the model. I think, MAYBE, that if they do, it's to release a new one, like a restyling of sort. Don't worry though: this saturday I'm going to the M-G Headquarters in Mandello del Lario (it's the 95th anniversary), and I'm gonna ask Moto Guzzi itself! Stay tuned!
Excellent.....: I'm in West Canada......fantastic mountain roads btw......-and I met some M-G riders that told me I should get Stelvio soon...Aprilia is changing Guzzi.....into an 800 adventure Aprilia bike... Do find out exactly what or how I can get new Stelvio within the next several months...... Stay in touch, Pierre.......-and have a great week-end for me ! wow...... thx: CS
Well buddy, my father owns the bike, we both ride it, and I have to say, it's one of the best bikes I've ever tried. And if you check my latest video, it performs well even on the trails! I say, grab one ASAP, you won't regret it! And don't forget, those things are virtually unbreakable, so even if you go for a 2011, 2012 model, that thing will last forever! I hope to see you subscribe to the channel, so that we can talk more often! :)
Good review. Im "afraid" I have to start looking for a Stelvio. How does the NTX-version differ from other versions ? I have a Moto Guzzi California 3 from 1992 and a BMW K1200GT from 2008. Both great bikes............but would like to have an "adventure-bike" as well and would like it to be a Guzzi. They simply put a smile on your face when you ride them :-) Thanx
Thanks for the comment! So, the Ntx is basically Guzzi's equivalent to Bmw's Adventure. Spoked rims, crash bars, bash plate, aluminum panniers, handguards, bigger windshield, etc etc. It's pretty much a regular Stelvio, but equipped from factory in order to be able to do some (light, mind you) offroad 😉
@@PierreC71 Thank you for the reply. Looking for a 2013-2015 model without too many miles on it. It seems there are quite a few 1200 8v. I will just upgrade the bike myself ;-)
