Dear Friends, CJ Snare passed April 5 , the lead singer. Stage 4 colon cancer. One of the best voices in Rock Music. One of my favorite bands hands down and wish they had done more. Gods Blessing to CJ and family. ❤🙏
im 17 , an i had a firehouse obbesion for a while and still do , obessed with hairbands period , ive saw and met firehouse twice , they are awesome guys , can they play/and sing , My God!
That’s awesome brotha. I was gonna say like that other comment you ain’t no 17 years old no more:( I’m 22 right now and hair metal is my favourite. It was the best that was made. Sadly it’s way over and you don’t see it anymore. Hair metal all the way!!! When music was actually made! Not no one person in front of a laptop ffs:( sad what our shitty world has come too:( love life and all but definitely wasn’t born in the right era ffs:(
Can't believe this isn't overdubbed, it's perfect. Wish I was born twenty years earlier for this stuff, great band - hope to see them, they still rock!
@@villadsda00 they were out in the 80's dude as Firehouse. Their music may not have been released until the 90s, maybe written, produced, and released also into the 90s, in the 80's transitional period of the early 90s. You will not find this on no 90s countdown I bet.
I've seen this band in arenas as well as tiny clubs, and they always bring it 100%. Plus, the singer still frickin' rules, and how many bands from that era can claim that?
Definitely one of the more underrated bands to come out of the big hair era! Firehouse had a GREAT live sound and show! I saw them several times and they never disappointed!
@bigo1223 - SO jealous!! I’ve seen my fair share of hair metal bands (my absolute FAVORITE of all time!❤), but Firehouse is one that’s eluded me…still on my list, though!!!🙏🏼
@Rodolfo M G'day my brother. Greeting from Australia! Hope you're well dude. Happy to chat, reach out via my Instagram if you'd like. You can find the link on my vids.
First album was definitely great, before they started doing more of the ballads. The bass in shake and tumble was always fun to play real loudly in the car.
This is so great! One of the best live bands. Their first cds sound is out of this planet, so amazing drum sound and overall killer production. Firehouse rocks \,,/
On top of the fact that's he a legit nice guy. I got to talk him at a meet and greet in Pensacola, FL in 1998. I had emailed him a few years before about tablature for Hold the Dream (he used to have tabs for a lot of his songs on his site). He said he didn't plan on doing it, but if i ever had the chance to talk to him at a show, he would show. I mentioned it in Pensacola and he actually remembered and offered, i was too floored to take him up on it, but got to talk to him for about 15 minutes about guitars, etc. Down to earth guys, glad for their success.
I play guitars in a band that covers most of the 80's hair band music. This one still brings the house down. Really gets the party started. We also use Love of a Lifetime to catch a 'breather'. Great songs and a great band.
Speaking to A-Mac, their bassist and he said "no lie, we were playing in Vegas last night and we were in the middle of Shake and Tumble when the earthquake hit in California. The whole damn place started shaking" He said he couldn't believe the timing of it...
I have seen them 6 times over the last 20 years and part of their magic (to me) is the fact that their live shows sound so close to the studio versions.
Great song! Whenever I listen to this song (which is usually weekly) I can't help but to stay somewhat focused on the bass player holding it down through that cool ass lead guitar solo.
I always loved the opening riff as a kid and still do to this day. These guys always put on a hell of a tight show. All are excellent musicinas as well. Bill rips on guitar and should have got more recognition than those emo grunge pukes.

Yes I totally agree with you. They are just Awesome. Now this is Music.
They were just a little too late to really strike gold
@@dyldoge7779 Yep. If they would have come out in 85 or so they would have been a force

Can't believe this isn't overdubbed, it's perfect.

He didn’t have to.. his voice was perfect everytime i saw them.
💥That’s what I’m saying, their really good live‼️
Heartbreaking to know we’ve lost this voice.. RIP CJ
Feel-good metal, harmony, all four guys can sing and are amazing musicians... man I miss the 80's... rock on... !!!!!
You sound just like me bro.
What happened to real bands that could do all that?
Hej Jake.... its bohovský rock ,not metal.good morning.
Dude its 90's not 80's

Bill Leverty is such an underrated guitarist.
Bill is a fucking awesome player !
the main riff is super hard (but very fun) to play
@@Angelo-fo8de Bill Leverty is right there with Mick Mars and the late Great Eddie Van Halen.
I never get tired of them! They just keep rockin'...
The only band in the world who played sold out concerts in 25 cities of Indonesia.
"Thank You Guys For Comin' Out Tonight..". God Bless Firehouse.
And i saw their live on Surabaya believe me it was amazing performance
Saw these guys open up for Tesla in '90, had no idea who they were but they completely blew Tesla off the stage!
better than Tesla live? Tesla must have been drunk and high that night if they were inferior to Firehouse.
i saw them then too
I saw them in 90 also open for Tesla, and yeah, they stole the show. Great live
Mike H. Nah it’s because Firehouse was incredibly amazing live, excellent musicians with all four harmonizing each other
@Respect/Walk man and slaughters tour that time was pretty dope as well but i believe it tbh

God damn what a time to be alive? Such and an underrated band and this song is a banger! Take me back to 1990 and stay there.
Very few bands sound as good live as in studio. Firehouse is one!
The bass line is the driver of the songs very melodic bass and that's the power of Perry Richardson
just like his bass in Strypers new album..
it really sounds great. this band kick ass
This song is an absolute masterclass in 80's metal. (I know it's 90's)
