Been out here since Sunday and have genuinely been blown away by all aspects of the town and resort - great spring conditions, very affordable, and the nightlife and food have been fantastic. For 3 guys in their 20s / 30s it’s been great - already planning a return en masse next year

We are arriving on the 9th of March. Looking forward to Skiing. We have skied before at Borovets several times some advice on what to start nicer slowly with some nice easy runs at first.
Try piste 10 first and then the Plato runs. enjoy Bansko.

How’s conditions overall? Potentially going to be heading second week of this month but am slightly hesitant of the conditions…
The ski road may suffer with this rain but lots of fresh snow falling now higher up . And more forecast.

Do you think higher up the mountain will hold out with the snow regardless? Getting a bit concerned 😅😂
Arrive Friday !!! And recommendation for intermediate snowboarders first couple of runs?
As an intermediate snowboarder you can basically explore the whole mountain. :-) I usually start with a few warming up runs either on the highest slopes; Plato (slope 3+11) or Bandi (slope 2+4) and then mix it up with some runs on 10 (sides are good for jumps) combining with 12 to the Mosta lift. Also red run 7 is nice (if you take the Kolarski lift up go around it to start the run, otherwise you end up on the super busy blue 1). And if you feel comfortable you can do the black and red runs at Chalin Valog, the lower part of the resort. Don't go too late though, it will be a bit destroyed and slushy in the afternoon.

Heard a (hopefully malicious) rumour that the resort is closed on Tuesday this coming week. Any truth to this Lance?
