Man I don't think anyone could ever understand my love for this show, by far my favorite show of all time absolutely love Jon and Angus(of course the rest of them as well Melanie,Conchata,Holland,Marin,etc) but Charlie was this show this show! He played his role beyond excellence! I was honestly heartbroken(not in the way of losing someone or breaking up but just devastated) when Charlie got fired I have honestly never watched this show past season 8(aside from the last scene of the show finale which was beyond pitiful smh) and never will. I continuely watch season 1-8 all the time but I'll forever be hoping and praying for more possible some sort of mild reboot with Charlie and Jon atleast, doubt Angus would do it again with his religious beliefs and of course RIP Conchata 🙏 but with the others why not? But man please someone out there make it happen! Please!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 either way Long Live Two And A Half Men!!!!!
I hear you, despite all the negative things that happened off-screen(I've watched pretty much all the interviews), I still love the show for what it is. Its a masterpiece and I have rewatched it multiple times. Still do. Yes, the duo, and all the other cast are absolutely brilliant in the show. This show is close to my heart for various reasons and for me Jon was the best. And even if I get negative replies to this, I watch episodes with Ashton as well. Because I like the whole concept and not a fanboy of 1 or 2 characters. Peace out. ☮✌
It's incredible how people don't understand that this show was truly the greatest sitcom ever on TV it was a laugh a minute every line was not only funny but realistic and just great. And people say that Seinfeld and the other I can't remember I never even watched hard to any the other ones cause I would watch him once especially sign felt and then never watch him again because not only were those people stupid but they were not even funny but of course they were run by a certain ethnic group that pushed them ahead even though the ratings weren't there they told us how great the show was when in fact it was nothing. Jerry Seinfeld never ever in his life was worth the kind of money they paid him but they did it so they could show how great he was and believe me he wasn't.
The first 6 seasons are some of the best in sitcom history. After that, it relied on Charlie's star power and still made it work for the last two. It then morphed into something else and the writing just got too sleazy and made Alan too unlikeable. He was always cheap but not to the extent he would later become. It ran its course but I wish we got three more seasons with Charlie and wrapped in satisfying way.
Best show ever bring something back figure it out you can’t bring it back to what it was but you can definitely bring back some sort of storyline all creative people awesome 👏 love ❤️ 👏❤️🌹💝😇💟❣️💘
Because of a thin skin producer, Lorre. We lost a good show that could have ran another 5 seasons. It was appropriate that the last scene was the piano falling on him. A well placed metaphor for him cutting his own throat.
I’ve heard and read that so many people hated it once Charlie left. And didn’t like it. Etc etc but I gotta say I thought the show got funnier once Ashton joined. I tend to watch those episodes with Ashton more. Jon & Angus character got funnier. And Ashton’s character was really cool. I still love Charlie though. I just love the show hahah
I like to believe that after season 8, maybe two more seasons would have went on, more of jakes adventures and trials of growing up, while charlie would work through the hurdles and journey in his marriage with rose(he’d find out manny wasnt real and then he’s ask rose to marry him), and alan would finally gain some financial footing and not rely so much on charlie at the same time realizing he doesnt need to be as much like charlie because being alan is just as good. Even berta judith and evelyn could have more development. The show would end the same way it ended in season 10, where jake goes to the military and they’d all say their fair wells, alan would finally move out for real and charlie and rose would have the beach house to the selves
Rose her real accent en voice is soooo weird. 🙁 And “Judith” wanted to get with Charlie is just weird.. Im happy they never put Judith and Charlie together... thats just gross.
This show just didnt work after Charlie left, the writers lost it with Aston Kutcher’s character, made him into some Mary Sue, then they replaced Jake with lesbian version of Charlie, and she was just totally unlikable, they should’ve quit while they were ahead.
