My Supervisor makes me think as if the SPSS is another GOLIATH I need to confront. Thank you for the video, I can go ahead with my CHAPTER 4 and 5. God bless you Sir
You can collect all the responses in excel and then you can import them into SPSS file. Secondly, you can directly create the spss sheet. You can opt for the convenient way you like. Good Luck. Keep researching.
Thank you for the video it was very insightful and helpful. Please can you help with a video on how to understand the measure which has scale, nominal and ordinal?? Thanks
Any option for Optical Character recognition? We have a large number of printed / hand filled in questionnaires and prefer if we don't type the data manually, is there a way to scan them, rcognise them and then import them?
actually speaking yes and no does not have any order. therefore, ideally, it is nominal but some researchers take them as an ordinal scale saying that yes is a higher-order and no is lower order.
Hi, the video was so helpful. I have a doubt, can we use this converted data to apply correlation or regression to find the relationship between them. Thanks in advance.
Thank you for this video. I am doing a thesis on the effects of integrating faith and psychotherapy in enhancement of marital satisfaction among health care workers in a specific hospital. I am using 2 survey Likert instruments and the healthcare workers are answering both Questionnaires. How can I analyze this data from both questionnaires in SPSS to give me a single result?
Dear Lydiah, first of all, decide on your DVs and IDVs. Based on that decide the objectives. now the objectives will determine the methodology of analysis. I hope this answers your question.
@@adilzia thank you for your prompt response. My IV is “faith” and my DV is marital satisfaction. To measure this I am using Index of Marital Satisfaction Scale and Spiritual well-being scale. Just wondering how to integrate the 2 scales and their responses in SPSS. 🤔. Kindly advice Sir
Next question 🙋♀️ I have inputted data from five areas putting weight of 5 of same species eg different frogs from 5 different sites. I want to see if site influences size of frog do I use same thing as above ? When I did it gave me 5 separate charts with frequency, pattern, valid percent and cumulative percent from each site. But that’s not showing if it influences it. I know I must be wrong or I’m missing important data that needs inputting to show if there’s any correlation between site and size. I just don’t know what
for understanding the impact of a variable you need to run the regression analysis. for this, you can see my video on "how to run multiple regression". This process will give you the level of impact or influence as well as the sign (negative or positive).
I want to put PSQI Scale in the Google form....How to generate the score automatically according to the scale in the Google sheet after the response is added...
Such and informational video. Thank you! I'm not done with the video but I did notice for the "yes" or "no" question you chose values 1 and 2 but in the variable chart they were assigned 0 for no and 1 for yes. Was this intentional or was it an oversight? Thank you again. I really appreciate this video.
the values of yes and no are indicative. you can select any values based on your convenience. This will have an impact on the interpretation of results.
Dr Adil.. thank you for sharing. Can you share what is the easiest way to update a transformed data in spss when we make a change in one of the variable data (instead of having to delete the transformed data and transform it all over again)?
The another shortcut method is to do it in Excell file and than import it is SPSS. In this way if u change one variable then it will reflect in the final variable that has been computed. I hope this answers your question.
dear student. the analysis of multiple responses in a question is a little complicated. It means that there can be more than one way of handling such questions. the best way is to treat each answer as one question. it means that if someone has responded to two answers then consider it like you are recording two responses. This method is applicable if you are not going to do analysis based on more than one response.

thank you sir for this knowledge..sir, If the questionnaire is based on likert scale, then, in scale column, what should be added ...
kindly elaborate on your question. its not clear exactly what you want to know?
Ordinal because you are ranking. Strongly agree is superior to agree or disagree, etc
Do you have any videos on checking the randomness of missing data?
hi sir, what are the main descriptive variables to add when making questionnaire to collect data from Smes Mangers
dear Muhammad, u have to do a literature review to search variables. I will make a video on this topic soon.
Hello, is a “yes and no” option always an ordinal scale?
actually speaking yes and no does not have any order. therefore, ideally, it is nominal but some researchers take them as an ordinal scale saying that yes is a higher-order and no is lower order.

Well articulated
Hey may I ask a question. I have a survey with a likert scale (1-7 but only 1 and 7 has lables). How can I transfer this in SPSS??

yes. u have to do the coding for entering the data.
HOW about nationality, is it nominal ? and if the answer has "other.............." how should I key into values?
the nationality will be recorded in nominal as we will not grade any Nationality superior to others.
Can you make up tha vedio about nominal and ordinal Data in SPSS
Sure I will. Wait for sometime.

thankyou so much. Please guide me about open-ended questions
