This album is great simply bc Bill ward was back on drums. He did relapse and ended up homeless for a while after this but he finally got sober in early 1984 and hasn’t looked back. Bill and Gezzer together with Tony made this amazing. In addition Ian sang his ass off on this song. 100% classic.
In this one song is more music than 2024 music at all

I always loved this underrated album , A remix is desperately needed. Hot line was my favorite song on this album Tony’s two guitar brakes. I just could never get enough of.

Ian Gillan wrecked his vocals on this album. No denying he pushed himself really hard for what was to be a short lived tenure before he ultimately found himself on Perfect Strangers the following years, with no further departures from Deep Purple thereafter.
Good lord. One my favorite songs from one of my all time favorite albums. Born again is the evil beast of sabbath albums. That cover alone - you knew what you were in for. ⛧️🔥👹

Fallen was already released officialy when they released deluxe remaster of this with live recording from Reading..... I think it was in 2011 - Born Again was part of series with Heaven and Hell and Mob rules. 2CD deluxe editions.

Thats for sure i like a lot this sound unique sound of born again. it is...idk..i am not musician...is it some grunge influence on sound, or why it sounds so special. It is ehavy as hell, and raw and dirty as Grunge, street, Kurt Cobain...wow! It makes impression! Especcialy if you think you know what is it a typical heavy metal, and what is it a black sabbath.... Man, this is again Toni Martin? His vocal is cool! Man i am crzy how it sounds cool! Why i dont listen it before????

Did The Beastie Boys ever play royalties for "borrowing" this riff, Tony? I love Born Again, what a great album and it's your most influential release. There are numerous other artists who've pinched some of your riffs from this album, it's a fact that often overlooked and that itself speaks to it's quality. I know it was common to shit on this album back in the day (much like the Tony Martin stuff) but glad to see it being praised now.

It sounds like a bad Ted nugent song mixed with a un released motley Crüe song, this is the reason black sabbath disappear after the late 80s hit
