I would like to know where you learned how to use Ableton/Launchpad. Thank you for taking the time to make this tutorial. I dug really deep into UA-cam for Launchpad information, and you are by far the most competent, coherent content creator as far as I've been able to determine. I find it pretty crazy that this is the most relevant tutorial even after 2 years, but I'm glad you're getting the traffic.
I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to map stems for the same track. For example, I want to map my drum sounds, and other instruments sounds, so that i can turn the loops on and off for a single track. Essentially, I want to have a 4 bar loop of all sounds and turn them individually on and off. Cut the drums out, bring them back in. Any ideas?
are you trying to map launchpad buttons to mute/unmute each track? I'm assuming you have your loops in arrangement/session view, rather than as part of an instrument chain. You probably want to set up a midimap on each track mute button
