You can find the Wild Africa Trek over at Disney Animal Kingdom. This 3 hour tour takes you behind the scenes and even closer to some of the animals you'll see on Kilimanjaro Safaris! Not sure if this tour is for you? Check out the video, I'll go over who I think should avoid it and whether or not I would do it again.

Some facts about the tour from:
- 3 hours, walking over uneven terrain required
- $199 per person
- wear proper shoes (closed toe, no flip flops)
- Dresses & skirts not recommended
- You can bring your phone & camera as long as it can be clipped to our vest (no large cameras)
- They'll give you something to secure your phone to your vest, this will likely only work if you have a case on your phone
- They'll give you sunglass holders
- You'll receive a souvenir water bottle which can also be clipped to your vest
- No bathroom breaks for the first 2 hours of the tour
- There are lockers at the beginning for anything that you can't bring with you
- Photopass photos from the tour included
- Lunch is provide (email ahead of time for any allergies or dietary restrictions)

Are you allowed to take photos or video while on the Wild Africa Trek?

Yes, you can definitely take photos & videos! Your camera needs to be hooked up to your vest, they'll give you lanyards with carabiner clips for your gear. They won't let you use a camera with a neck strap, it would have to be securely fastened to your vest, so I don't think a dSLR would be allowed. And personally, I wouldn't bring one as there are times you may need both hands and I wouldn't want it banging around. For this trip I just brought my iPhone (which I was able to secure through the opening at the bottom of the case by looping the lanyard through) and my GoPro. A point & shoot would work okay too.
