He does have a living descendant living in a property which was inherited from Flamel. I couldn't find out much more than it's a male and he does exist. Perhaps this is a relative of Perenelle. Everything you describe here verifies what I found too, though you've done a much better job. One alternative theory on the source of his wealth was suggested by a prominent Jewish friend, living in the 5th arr, who suggested that the book was a ledger which recorded loans due to Jewish bankers based in the middle east which Flamel, having identified himself as the guardian of the book, was assigned to collect on. This theory kind of stacks up because King Charles did leave him alone. Whatever the reason there is no way the churches and houses for the poor were built using Perenelles inheritance, which was still intact at the time of her death. Legend has it, the archway in the cemetery of the innocents was deconstructed one night and it's parts taken by those who believed they could use them to recreate the philosophers stone. Great job. Thanks again for such interesting research.
Agreed. It’s why I think he was a bit like Warren Buffet. He probably made some wise investments to supplement the income he made from being a scribe and, being of a philanthropic nature, he donated a huge chunk of his wealth to causes he felt worthy. If I was as wealthy as Flamel I know what I would do with all that wealth. Buy a nice, old house, carefully restore it, donate a huge chunk to various animal and art focused charities and live on the residues, happily working as a curator or archivists.

I personally think Flamel just made a lot of wise investments in companies that are still around like Barovier (a famous glass making company in Venice). That is something a savvy businessman would do. At least I think so. Couple that with the tax system you brought up and Flamel was probably able to donate a large bulk of his wealth to causes he thought worthy like hospices and hostels for travelers.

I might be wrong but what if the phrase wasnt meant to undermine the whole concept but to actually show the first step??? Ive always had premonitions and led a very spiritual life seeing things most wouldnt believe, along with healings and much more. I love that my journey is being vinticated in so many ways as of late.. But back to what happened. When I got inside the bright structure I looked around and asked where I was, a person replied I was in "Earth Gate" I won't say anymore on here but I know it to be true. When I got back to my body I was surrounded by 7 little gnome or fairy like creatures that had me levitated taking me off my bed, across the floor toward a black hole they had formed in the closet, the main one realized I was back in my body made a sneer and a quick sound to the rest and they all quit focusing on me and dropped me in the middle of the floor, they all flipped and jumped into the hole slamming the door as they disappeared into the hole. I often wonder if I should have let them take me or if that was hades or hell and I made the right decision to resist... I'm hoping one day I meet someone who can tell me. Till then I continue the search.
A decent draft. There's something to work with at least for a start but If you really want your story to have a modicum of believability you need to refine it some more. Try going with something more ancient and esoteric like maybe the akashic library or something Indian, Egyptian or even hebraic or Sumerian. The problem with using the Quran is that it's too recent and too inconsistent. It's writer lacks credibility. The prophet doesn't meet any of the requirements to even be considered a minor prophet. His writings concern his fleshly appetites and his sexual desires. He was not a spiritual or even a mystical figure. So much of what he professed has been proven false. He believed the devil urinates in his nose at night and that sperm is produced in the ribcage. His grasp of astronomy was even more silly than his biology and the manner of his death was the icing on top. He was once asked what would be the fitting end for a false prophet and he said that it would be fitting that a false prophet be killed by having his aorta cut. Fast forward to the moment he lay dying from the poisoned lamb fed to him by one of his surviving victims he exclaims to his bride (whom he defiled at the age of 9btw) "oh Aisha it's as of my aorta has been severed!". A fitting end by his own words eh? With a little more effort and research you could make a decent story. Just remember most people have built in b.s detectors so you need to cross your t's and dot your i's. It also helps to draw your inspiration from writings older than 200AD and try to read up on NDE's and OBE's and the most common factors among them like whirlpools and glowing eyed entities, details about what is seen, heard and felt and incorporate them into your story. Also study how credible eyewitnesses relate their experiences. The details like times, dates, circumstances, settings so it reads more like an eyewitness account than a fishing story.

I might be wrong but what if the phrase wasnt meant to undermine the whole concept but to actually show the first step??? Ive always had premonitions and led a very spiritual life seeing things most wouldnt believe, along with healings and much more. I love that my journey is being vinticated in so many ways as of late.. But back to what happened. When I got inside the bright structure I looked around and asked where I was, a person replied I was in "Earth Gate" I won't say anymore on here but I know it to be true. When I got back to my body I was surrounded by 7 little gnome or fairy like creatures that had me levitated taking me off my bed, across the floor toward a black hole they had formed in the closet, the main one realized I was back in my body made a sneer and a quick sound to the rest and they all quit focusing on me and dropped me in the middle of the floor, they all flipped and jumped into the hole slamming the door as they disappeared into the hole. I often wonder if I should have let them take me or if that was hades or hell and I made the right decision to resist... I'm hoping one day I meet someone who can tell me. Till then I continue the search.
A decent draft. There's something to work with at least for a start but If you really want your story to have a modicum of believability you need to refine it some more. Try going with something more ancient and esoteric like maybe the akashic library or something Indian, Egyptian or even hebraic or Sumerian. The problem with using the Quran is that it's too recent and too inconsistent. It's writer lacks credibility. The prophet doesn't meet any of the requirements to even be considered a minor prophet. His writings concern his fleshly appetites and his sexual desires. He was not a spiritual or even a mystical figure. So much of what he professed has been proven false. He believed the devil urinates in his nose at night and that sperm is produced in the ribcage. His grasp of astronomy was even more silly than his biology and the manner of his death was the icing on top. He was once asked what would be the fitting end for a false prophet and he said that it would be fitting that a false prophet be killed by having his aorta cut. Fast forward to the moment he lay dying from the poisoned lamb fed to him by one of his surviving victims he exclaims to his bride (whom he defiled at the age of 9btw) "oh Aisha it's as of my aorta has been severed!". A fitting end by his own words eh?
With a little more effort and research you could make a decent story. Just remember most people have built in b.s detectors so you need to cross your t's and dot your i's. It also helps to draw your inspiration from writings older than 200AD and try to read up on NDE's and OBE's and the most common factors among them like whirlpools and glowing eyed entities, details about what is seen, heard and felt and incorporate them into your story. Also study how credible eyewitnesses relate their experiences. The details like times, dates, circumstances, settings so it reads more like an eyewitness account than a fishing story.
I'm surprised a spirit or angel would show favor to any religious texts from this world. I don't think any of us have gotten it quite right 😊

I want to add that although life expectancy was low during his time, it was because many people died unnaturally young due to illness, bad hygiene, etc. Those who lived to be adults would easily live to 70 or 80 years of age, just as we do today.
This is a part which is quickly glossed over which skews the statistics.
He's telling the truth, but he's not being honest. He's very biased. I enjoy his videos, but I take everything with a grain of salt. He tells entertaining stories that may or may not contain parts based on real facts.
