The usage of "plant-based" in your banner seems out of place. The term plant-based has basically no meaning, it is very often used online to describe flexitarianism, or vegetarianism. Even when used to describe no direct animal usage, it ignores animal testing, and any/all non food related animal exploitation. It always gives me a lot of doubt about a person, especially when they appear to be using the deliberately nonsensical term interchangeably with vegan.
The term plant-based can be pretty vague, but I think there shouldn't be too much confusion here given that it's right underneath "vegan". The two terms are not interchangeable. The term "vegan" as applying to consumption choices in conjunction with ethical standings, and plant-based refers only to consumption. Because of that I don't think it's incorrect to say that the recipes I create are both vegan and plant-based, with my motivation being to promote veganism.
@@veryveganval Using the two terms next to each other, adds to the deliberate confusion that suits the plant based companies, and marketers, but works against the animals. The two terms are very deliberately used interchangeably by the dodgy, to the point that many people do not know the difference between them, or the definition of, and reason for veganism. Oxford Dictionary: "(of food or a diet) consisting largely or solely of vegetables, grains, pulses, or other foods derived from plants, rather than animal products." Cambridge Dictionary: "consisting or made completely of plants, or mainly of plants" Merriam-Webster Dictionary: "consisting primarily or entirely of food (such as vegetables, fruits, nuts, oils, and beans) derived from plants" So a ham sandwich is plant-based by definition.

If you're worried about platic waste, look for the little glass jars of apple sauce, then you get to keep the jar :D
Also, that cake looks lit!
I've never seen applesauce in glass in the small size, but I'll keep looking! And thank you!
