Let me just tell this, I just came to know how to speed ramp and you litteraly showed it dirrectly rather than making me skip through the tutorial to find a button, appreciate this so much!
Buddy, you're a pleasure to listen to and you explain in an accessible way. Thank you very much for your videos. I was just about to edit a speed ramp video but didn't know how to do it properly. Thanks again
1:34 the tracking point placement affects : 1) where the center of the stabilized video will be, OR 2) its just a a good reference point anywhere in the video, for the tracker to work, and the center of the video remains what it was before the tracking? if u get my point..
the center point of the video will depend on your video. after effects will always make the clip so that the first frame does not have any black borders (in my experience) the tracker should be place at the point that the camera is going around. For example the camera was filming around is face so the sunglasses were a good high contrast spot around the middle of the face.
Great tut. In iMovie and even in the camera roll on my phone, the audio will ramp up or down with the video, but Premiere doesn't seem to have the option to do this - am I missing something?
Premiere Pro doesn't have that feature. Sorry about that. Please add your vote to the feature request: adobe.ly/4fK1rNM Feel free to reach out on Facebook or X (AdobeCare) if there's anything else. Thanks, ^Nishu
@@AdobeVideo I've added my vote, thanks! It stings every time I see the bill for Creative Cloud when feature exists in my camera roll at no cost - but not in Premiere Pro. :)
question: why do you nest a single footage 5:28 here? i'm still learning the basic, is it to make both PP and AE fx settings work together simultaneously?
I think you're right about PP and AE fx working together. Also, if you're using Warp Stabilizer and Speed Ramp on the same clips, it's a good idea to nest the clip. Hope it helps. Feel free to reach out. Thanks, ^Nishu
Thanks! If keyframes don't appear in timeline, click the wrench in the upper left, "Show Video Keyframes". This was turned off by default in my fresh install of Premiere Pro v25. Best wishes!
Really fun and simple effect! All done with the transform effect, first zoom in a bit with the scale. Then add a bunch of key frames for the position and rotation moving your video around tad bit every couple of frames depending how fast you want that shake. You can add some shutter angle for the cherry on top motion blur.
Very good. BUT. It looks like adobe has disabled this ability in premiere pro 2025. I used to do it in the old versions, but now way I can see how to do it in pro 2025. Typically adobe takes out all the good stuff with each new version. They have cost me dearly.
Try Adobe Premiere Pro: adobe.ly/3QSvTuM

Nice video, thanks
Nice tutorial!
@Motoki Love it, do you have a tutorial on how to add the shake effect like when the clip matches a music bass beat or something similar.

@Adobe the premiere UI is terrible!
Roto Brush is useless but those two speed ramp tutorials were quite nice.
