We are called to suffer like Christ did for us. In this age where people justify their sin for the sake of being happy you are choosing to be obedient to God. I pray He continues to strengthen you and give you peace as you stay steadfast. It’s not easy to do the right thing without the power of God in us. God hates and does not condone divorce because He knows that He is capable of fixing any and all things! In Keon's case, this is his third marriage. Keon was seeing Shawnee while he was married to his second wife. A friend of Keon's said that Shawnee told him that she was interested in Keon and wanted to meet him. While the friend told Keon, he invited her to meet with him. They exchanged information and kept it on the low low because he was still married. Now all of a sudden, they're having marital problems and he wants to divorce. Keon strikes me as an opportunist. He left his second wife and went with the bag, aka, Shawnee O'neal. When they both try to explain the timing of when they started dating, it doesn't add up. Because Keon said that he met Shawnee a year after he actually did. There was video proof of him on the internet. Which he has since removed the video of him and Shawnee on stage at his conference a year before he said he ever met her. And this was the same conference that his second wife was at, so people started to ask questions and he had the video removed. Because the math wasn't mathing. God would never tell a single woman that her husband is somebody else's husband and vice versa.That's not the God that we serve. When it comes to these Christians today, the majority of them are so self-righteous. I don't drink, don't do drugs, don't smoke, don't go to clubs, but they are sweating up the sheets, Whether it be fornication, adultery or homosexuality. Where is God in that? Where is He?

I believe Laterras's ex wife divorced him. He admitted he wasn't faithful and where he went wrong and how immature he was. He says he started the podcast because he wanted to remarry and remarry the correct way with God's help along with sharing his story to learn from others 🤷♀️

Yes! I struggled with this as well. However, instead of putting so much focus, I learned to go out and do things I enjoy. Gym classes, coffee shops, browsing dept stores/mall,. I made it a point to do things alone sometimes. While I haven't met a man I'm really interested in getting serious with yet, I've had a few guys approach most of the time I didn't even notice them initially. Lol. Just getting out and genuinely enjoying yourself, someone will take notice. ❤

I don’t feel comfortable listening to a pastor that divorced wife or any woman in ministry that has married someone’s husband. I respect marriage and will not marry a man that has been married before unless the first wife passed away.
Somebody help me understand the logic here... So even in a rare case scenario a man does everything right and either gets cheated on or divorced because his wife wanted something new, you don't wanna be with him because of him being married before without any context?
@@xLamont_ Speak up brother. People need to hear from God on this. I often wonder about this because Jesus told the woman at the well she had 5 husbands and the one she was with was not her husband. He acknowledged all of her husbands, and from his comments, the 6th must have been a situation ship. What about divorced spouses that got divorced before being saved, and the other spouse remarried..... There are a lot of things to consider. We must pray and rightly divide the word.
God’s word is clear on what adultery is. You can read it for yourself. You can’t change his word because you don’t like it. Marrying someone that divorced their wife/husband other than sexual immorality is adultery period. That’s why marriage should not be entered into lightly. You have people out here that have been married multiple times. Now if I met someone whose wife cheated or abandoned him, yes I would give him a chance if God granted me permission to proceed.

A woman could not marry if one of her husbands were still living. Tony, you are a real one and I have so much respect for you. I used to go to the Lighthouse Church and I remember seeing/hearing you speak at a conference that Pastor Keion put on in 2016. I left Lighthouse in summer of 2020..I just couldn't take it anymore, and not too much longer after I left the news broke out about PK and Shaunie. I knew immediately that it wasn't right because within the world, Shaunie does not represent God. She created and continously produces toxic television that displays women acting shameful, throwing drinks and wine bottles at each other, hopping over and flipping over tables, cussing each other out, fighting all the time...all for a few minutes of fame and a check. I was at the Relationships Conference in June 2019 where Pastor Keion had hosted that panel that consisted of Shaunie and her friends (that was a major red flag to me but I went just to see where it would lead)...and Lady Felecia was on the front row in the audience watching as a supportive wife to Pastor Keion. I put the pieces of the puzzle together and my heart was broken...I still really haven't been a part of a church since Lighthouse but I read my bible and do stream churches online from time to time. Lady Felecia was and still is such a beautiful and graceful soul who did not deserve to be treated in such a cold and disrespectful way. It broke my heart and my spirit to witness all of the scandals within that church, but God has healed me and has made me so much stronger and wiser. I was there for Toure, Lori Roberts is a powerful worshipper and woman of God! He was dating Sarah while he was still married and Lori had no clue until he moved out the house. Even then he and Lori were in counseling “working on it” and then he filed for Divorce and married Sarah within months.

My sister married a man who was also in counseling with his ex-wife while he was with my sister & a few other women! Found out he was with his ex-wife over 20 years & the exwife divorced him because of all the cheating. My sister was engaged to him within a few months of his divorce & now he does the same thing to my sister. Been cheating on my sister since before they even married. We tried to tell her not to marry him because it's an adulterous marriage & he is a liar & cheater. Everyone in town knows him & what he does. I've seen him out numerous times always in a woman's face smiling & he never has his wedding ring on.
That lady’s discernment is on point, I discerned the same regarding Keion and Shaunie. I have only ever listened to keion once and I felt like an alarm was going off in my spirit, that things were just off with him so I never listened to him again.

Marriage and divorce is no joke. It's very spiritual. Those celeb women were not known to be Christian women and the emailer had a point in all she said. *ADDED EDIT - The Dear Wifey dude I grew curious about because he's been single a looooooong time and coming across a lot of women. I had to stop watching that podcast because I felt like the host was using the show as an opportunity to get more access to women. He is also very inconsistent with his actions. He publicly jokes about not being able to maintain abstinence repeatedly. He also surrounds himself with female friends. One of them came on the show and admitted that she was his sneaky link. I think he started the show with good intentions but I feel like he has lost the plot.

Yea I find that I have to pick and choose the episodes I watch but he's recently had some great guests like Priscilla Shirer and her husband as well as Dr. Gary Chapman, the author of the 5 Love Languages, who is also a believer. Both of those episodes were very good with God at the center.

A lot of these popular pastors today are clout chasers more than God chasers interested more in the bag than the Bible and Pastor Keion never sit right in my spirit something about him is off and arrogant which is why I'm now led to minister on the importance of having a true relationship with God over anything else and then when it comes to joining a church pray about it and check the fruit of the leadership to see if that's somewhere where you see yourself going and growing without distraction.

When a Leader, Pastor, Bishop, of the Christian faith, does actions that are against the Word, they should be held accountable. Because a lot of people that are of the Faith, DO NOT read their Word, they follow these People like they are celebrities, and that puts a very ugly stain on the Church, as a whole. By flocking to their conferences and churches, they are excepting ungodly behavior and weakening our positive influence in this world. It is a sad situation. The body of Christ is looking “weak”. Because of them. BUT GOD, sees all and knows all. We must hold up the BLOOD STAINED BANNER FOR LORD.

Pastors officiating remarriages is as pervasive. My pastor is bible-based is speaks very clearly about marriage, divorce and remarriage. My heart goes out to every single person that left an adulterous marriage. Your gift, which more pastors should teach on is the ministry of singleness. You get to spend the rest of your time on this wicked earth in committed discipleship. If you become widowed, my pray is that you only consider marrying a blood-washed believer. No believer can afford to be unequally-yoke. We have too much work to do for the kingdom. Pastors that preach (or engage) otherwise is outside the will of God. On a side note, I would like to see professional coaching more ethically aligned to licensed clinical counseling. I cringed a bit when hearing about DMs with specific celebrities. There should be an expectation of confidentiality in all interaction.

Tony, you are a real one and I have so much respect for you. I used to go to the Lighthouse Church and I remember seeing/hearing you speak at a conference that Pastor Keion put on in 2016. I left Lighthouse in summer of 2020..I just couldn't take it anymore, and not too much longer after I left the news broke out about PK and Shaunie. I knew immediately that it wasn't right because within the world, Shaunie does not represent God. She created and continously produces toxic television that displays women acting shameful, throwing drinks and wine bottles at each other, hopping over and flipping over tables, cussing each other out, fighting all the time...all for a few minutes of fame and a check. I was at the Relationships Conference in June 2019 where Pastor Keion had hosted that panel that consisted of Shaunie and her friends (that was a major red flag to me but I went just to see where it would lead)...and Lady Felecia was on the front row in the audience watching as a supportive wife to Pastor Keion. I put the pieces of the puzzle together and my heart was broken...I still really haven't been a part of a church since Lighthouse but I read my bible and do stream churches online from time to time. Lady Felecia was and still is such a beautiful and graceful soul who did not deserve to be treated in such a cold and disrespectful way. It broke my heart and my spirit to witness all of the scandals within that church, but God has healed me and has made me so much stronger and wiser. I was there for Toure, Lori Roberts is a powerful worshipper and woman of God! He was dating Sarah while he was still married and Lori had no clue until he moved out the house. Even then he and Lori were in counseling “working on it” and then he filed for Divorce and married Sarah within months.

That made my stomach turn. The Holy Spirit ain’t living in someone who willingly lives a deceitful and sinful life. My sister married a man who was also in counseling with his ex-wife while he was with my sister & a few other women! Found out he was with his ex-wife over 20 years & the exwife divorced him because of all the cheating. My sister was engaged to him within a few months of his divorce & now he does the same thing to my sister.
Been cheating on my sister since before they even married. We tried to tell her not to marry him because it's an adulterous marriage & he is a liar & cheater. Everyone in town knows him & what he does. I've seen him out numerous times always in a woman's face smiling & he never has his wedding ring on.

Yea I find that I have to pick and choose the episodes I watch but he's recently had some great guests like Priscilla Shirer and her husband as well as Dr. Gary Chapman, the author of the 5 Love Languages, who is also a believer. Both of those episodes were very good with God at the center.

A lot of these popular pastors today are clout chasers more than God chasers interested more in the bag than the Bible and Pastor Keion never sit right in my spirit something about him is off and arrogant which is why I'm now led to minister on the importance of having a true relationship with God over anything else and then when it comes to joining a church pray about it and check the fruit of the leadership to see if that's somewhere where you see yourself going and growing without distraction.

Dr. Cheyenne Bryant was so well prepared, I believe that conversation has and will continue to bless so many. That message is bondage breaking bc she was the perfect balance of knowledge, empathy and integrity. Pastors officiating remarriages is as pervasive. My pastor is bible-based is speaks very clearly about marriage, divorce and remarriage. My heart goes out to every single person that left an adulterous marriage. Your gift, which more pastors should teach on is the ministry of singleness. You get to spend the rest of your time on this wicked earth in committed discipleship. If you become widowed, my pray is that you only consider marrying a blood-washed believer. No believer can afford to be unequally-yoke. We have too much work to do for the kingdom. Pastors that preach (or engage) otherwise is outside the will of God.
On a side note, I would like to see professional coaching more ethically aligned to licensed clinical counseling. I cringed a bit when hearing about DMs with specific celebrities. There should be an expectation of confidentiality in all interaction.
