Heading to Brooklyn in a few days for a work conference and bringing my canon R5C and 70-200. Was looking for shooting spot ideas and your video didn’t disappoint. Thank you
Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. I was here on a business trip 2 years ago and several times, I found myself just frozen in several spots as I walked through this gorgeous neighborhood. So many people from amateurs to pros were taking photos… of everything. I remember thinking: “is there any part of this place that hasn’t been photographed?” - “where would you have to position yourself to snap something that hasn’t been shot a million times already?” I love this video for so many reasons. I can almost taste the breakfast bagel that I ate one morning while sitting on the riverbank, watching the city wake up. Thank you!
Thank you for the kind words 🙌🏻. If your looking for some locations that are free I highly recommend heading down to the financial district by the freedom tower and the Occulus. Brooklyn bridge gives you a great point of view as well. If you wanna pay for an excellent view I would go to the the Edge at Hudson Yards or on the top of the Rock (which is the top of Rockefeller Center) for some jaw dropping views that will be great for a 70-200. I still have to hit those spots with my lens. Hope that helps and enjoy the city !!!
Great video man. Are you still using A7III? I’m torn between upgrading from A7III to A7IV or keep the A7III and get the 70-200mm GM II like you. I guess the better lenses will always be prior to a new body?
I still have the a7iii. I would love to get the a7iv but I rather invest my money into lenses. Having great fast glass is more important to me. The a7iii is still an amazing camera. The only thing would be I would like some more megapixels but it’s not the end of the world. Thanks for the kind words and reaching out Chris
@@PhotoTripps23 thank you for taking your time to answer. I've also heard you're better off with investing money into your lenses first, especially if your camera isn't holding you back down. And for me, if I really have to be honest, the A7III is still a very great camera for what I do and my needs. So I guess lenses first for me as well. And yes the A7III is still great, no doubt about that. I also sometimes "wish" that I could have a bit more megapixels, but in the end of the day, it always work for me with 24mp. I'll order the 70-200mm F2.8 version 2 now. So thank you for helping me out 😀
exact same situation myself. was considering upgrading my a7III but I don't have a nice telephoto lens. Would like some more MP but its not holding me back right now.
great shots. just ordered the rf70-200 2.8 for my R5 and heading to nyc next week. Is there a reason you leave that horrendous orange mount on the camera when youre not planning on using a tripod, seems it would get in the way. Love the compression on some of your shots.
I’m using the A7rii with this. Altho it wont af faster than the newer camera body. But it still gets the job done. Most of the time. 6 years and counting.. the body hasnt give up so I’m not giving it up too. Lol.
Bro I love so much your content.. your shots are so incredible good. Thanks for sharing this here. I got a quick question for this entire session were you shooting in Aperture priority , full manual, etc ?
When you use a lower ISO setting than your base (i.e. ISO 50 instead of ISO 100) in order to reduce the appearance of noise or otherwise achieve a slower shutter speed, your camera sensor will digitally overexpose your image at ISO 100, and then the processor will reduce that exposure to simulate what it would look like at ISO 50. The result? You can potentially lose contrast and detail in the highlights and reduce your overall dynamic range since the image is purposefully overexposed.
It was officially released in December of 2021. It sold out right away so it’s been hard to get. I had to go through some channels to get my hands on it.
Hi mate, I like watching your video but you've got to do something about the ambient noise from the GoPro you are filming on. When you turn the volume up enough to hear your commentary, the background humming is incredibly unpleasant
That’s the sounds of the city man I can’t really do anything about that at the moment. Might have to invest in a mic soon but that’s the first time anyone has said that
@@PhotoTripps23 cannot wait to see it. By the way, i was considering add a telephoto lense for a long time, and finally pulled the trigger after watching your video. I am pretty happy with my 70-200gm2.
You photos are to tiny in the frame we can really appreciate the photo. Stop the video switch to photo full frame for 4 second and return to the video. Big part of the people watch UA-cam in there cellphones , not in a laptop.
Watching this video I think I told myself "That would make for a cool wallpaper" at LEAST 50 times. Awesome work
The lights on the bridge is just amazing.. 👍

Watched the whole video. Every second from start till the end. Worth every millisecond ❤️
Thank you very much 🙏🏻
all my favorite spots

My personal favorite zone in NYC. Loving your channel and photos. Inspirational stuff. Keep it up, man.
What a photos men!!! I love it. I think it’s the most beautiful city to use this lens. My congrats!
Honestly the perfect video for me, Im visiting NYC next month and renting a 70-200mm just for the trip, any recommendations for spots to visit?

Super. How about a tutorial on color grading?
In the works

Thank you both for this. I wanted to ask the exact same thing & saw these set of comments. I will be buying this lens for my a7III

Loved your photography but the audio is giving me kinda GTA+watchdogs+cyberpunk 2077 vibe
I’m not really sure that’s a bad thing
Woo. Soo fortunate to be in a very photogenetic city there. Inspirin' me to get back out.
As always, Nice POV!

I’m my last couple videos I have it off. Only use it when I have my tripod now. That a sweet lens though your gonna enjoy it
love it!!🤩📸
Great video fam!
what setting were you changing with your thumb as you were taking shots? Just curious whether you shoot aperture priority or some other setting?
that joystick is what i use to move my focus point. I only shoot on manual
@@PhotoTripps23 thank you!!
Thanks for the video. What camera bag to fit the 70-200gm with the camera when doing street? If you take a 20 or a 35 to pair the GMII…
I have a video with my camera bag. I can fit all my gear in that bag at once
Thanks, I'll search that video!!
Damn I walked all that with my 85mm 1.2 and got different photos, I should of took my 70-200 2.8
amazing! love from London brother
Thanks man

I’ve only heard great things about that camera. Sonys are just reliable and I know with the high megapixels u can’t really go wrong
Why shoot at ISO 50?
Made it too dark🤦😁
nicki minaj killin it in the background
Lmao I had a feeling you would say something about that
I love your videos, the pov is incredible, do you use superview on the gopro to record?
Hey thanks for the kind words. Yeah I typically use superview when shooting a pov
Super underrated content. Keep it up
Ayyy thank you for the kind words
I hope to buy it, too. L-plate of your camera
Where can I buy it?
i bought the l bracket in three legged things website
Love the shots. Great POV. Thank you 👍
Very nice I need nem for foto chop
Amazing pov vids as usual ! Which software do you use to edit your vids for UA-cam ? 🙏
I use adobe premiere pro for my videos and Lightroom CC for my photos
And thank you for the kind words
Thank you , and thank you for these amazing videos never stop making them 🙏
Love the colours in your photos man, really punchy.
I appreciate it man, thank you
Bro I love so much your content.. your shots are so incredible good. Thanks for sharing this here. I got a quick question for this entire session were you shooting in Aperture priority , full manual, etc ?
Full manual always. I just like the shallow depth look so I like using 2.8
This was an early view for me and I tend to bounce around more with my apertures
Also where are my manners. I appreciate the kind words 🙏🏻
I love the preset.
You should have taken a photo for the plane, why did you miss it?
Honestly couldn’t tell ya the video is over a year old. I must have just missed it

This was one of the first videos I posted. Since then I’ve learned I lot more especially using the native iso

It was officially released in December of 2021. It sold out right away so it’s been hard to get. I had to go through some channels to get my hands on it.
The 70-200 f4 was just released this year if that’s what your thinking about
@@PhotoTripps23I guess , YES
It's very funny when a person with a camera are taking photos of something and came someone else to take your shot 🤣
😂 it always cracks me up
I just wasn't excited about the end photos... maybe its the quality i'm wathing this on
The video is in 4K. Make sure you change your UA-cam quality settings to its max

Great video. I have ordered mine through B&H.
Love B&H they have great customer service
15:17. i thought you were trying to capture that helicopter with sun backlight.... How could you misss it.
I know I just missed it once I realized it was right there🤦♂️
the photo sniper lol

i think you are one of the best street photographer using 70-200. Shots are even better than PierreT
That’s a bold statement but I really appreciate you saying that. Thank you 🙌🏻 should have more context this week
