- In this POV we explore around Rockefeller Center and head up to The Top of The Rock for golden hour to get some amazing shots of the city. This observation deck has a unique experience for photographers because on the top level theres no glass to obstruct the view of the lens. Paired with the breath taking view of the Empire State Building dead nuts in the frame. Plus an amazing view of Central Park this location has it all. I definitely see myself coming back here for sure. Hope you guys and ladies enjoyed the content please like and subscribe.... Peace Out

This is an awesome POV and your shots are VERY NICE. Photo Tripps is the bomb. I love your videos. Spectacular vantage points while shooting. You're da man. Keep on making great videos. I ❤ this.
Those photo's were amazing...I LIKE!!!
that was great weather. those clouds are everything !!
Wasn’t the best sunset but I did get some solid light for 20 minutes. Appreciate the love man
@@PhotoTripps23 talking about sunset.. mother's day ! that was a sunset, and I had to be at work. so mad I couldn't take some photos. love your povs and your photos so looking forward for more.
I know I’ve seen some of the pictures floating around Instagram and it looked insane. Thank you for the support bro 🙏🏻
Lovely shots.
Great clouds. Super location and no glass.
No glass is big
Beautiful city, beautiful photos and a chilled POV. Well done! 👍🏼
WOW! What a great view and even better images! Thanks for sharing
Favorite new channel, thanks and loving the content!
Thank you thank you 🙏🏻
Awesome
Loved the video! It's such a vibe it's crazy! Keep up the good work and soon you will be on the top! Greetings from Germany
Thank you 🙏🏻
You are easily my new favourite photographer 😂
Great shots. I was there last night (on a Wednesday) crazy busy. Couldn’t even move. To bad.
I could imagine when the weather is nicer it’s packed
0:56 LMAOOO
Love your POV videos. Planning to visit NYC soon. These videos will be invaluable 🙏
Thank you for the kind words mate
Very nice, I learned a lot from your shots
Thanks Tim happy to help 🙌🏻
Hey😊 which date and time were you at the top of the rock?😊 loooooved the photos❤
That was the end of April last year around sunset
@@PhotoTripps23 wow there were only few people 😳😍and the sky was so beautiful to shoot. Loved the clouds, so great
Great video 👍🏼 and some questions. Can I use a tripod to shoot Top of the Rock?
Most of the rooftop spots in the city don’t allows tripods but I honestly forget for top of the rock
Great shots as always, have you done the SummitOne building? If so how does it compare please?
It’s a cool spot to experience but not awesome for photography. Everything is behind glass so it’s just not the same compared to the rock
@@PhotoTripps23 Yeah I did wonder as we are coming from the UK in May & I booked Summitone as it had more to do for my kid
So good bro ! What are you recording on if you don’t mind me ask , gopro or iPhone ?
GoPro hero 10 and I usually have it in super shot mode
Great video mate and love the pics and composition. I’m coming to New York soon and I saw you taking a shot at the start near Radio City in the middle of the road, how strict are they on jaywalking?
You can walk anywhere you’d like. It’s really just up to you to be aware of your surrounding. Thank you for the kind words
Really helpful vid! What's it like using the new 70-200 on the A7iii, especially in terms of ergonomics and auto-focus? Grateful for any insights you can offer!
It’s fantastic everything connects probably and I haven’t had any problems
Awesome POV, I have my own channel but learned too much from yours to improve my next POV. Thank you!
Keep it up Ben. Happy I could help out a little man 🤝🏻
Great shots but dude that l-bracket looks annoying.I only use mine on a tripod. If you want a small grip extension get the Meike mk-x1em.
Yeah I’ve always just kept it on but recently I’ve been thinking about only using when I need it
@@PhotoTripps23 yeh. That meike grip I mentioned is awesome on the a7iii.👍🏻
I had to like and subscribe when I saw the words "what a shit box" pop up!
Like your POV as I am just a enthusiast photographer and somehow always go into brain freeze when I get out on the streets. From this video I'm creating a list from some of your shots that I'll keep on my phone. Can we see some of what you do in post? Viewed from my monitor many of your post shots look like film. Many thanks.
Well to start off I appreciate you agreeing with my thoughts on that car 😂. I’ve been thinking about doing some post production videos in Lightroom. I need to invest in a microphone for my set up. My editing style constantly changes but recently I’ve been enjoying that film kinda look. I’m glad you could find some inspiration from the video that’s really the whole point of UA-cam being able to share with the community
Awesome pics man, what time of day was this? It seems like it was empty!
Thank you homie, I started shooting around 5:45 and finished up around 7:45. It was a Wednesday night so that’s probably why it wasn’t too busy
New photographer here. Curious as to why your shutter is 1/2000 for the cityscape? Wouldn’t 1/250-1/500 work as well?
it definitely would i just have a bad habit has keeping my aperture low when i shooting
9:19 What is the name of the building you went up to? is it free to upload? sorry, my english is not good, greetings from Chile.
No worries man. The observation deck is called “top of the rock” it’s the main building in Rockefeller center. The ticket is 40 dollars but if you go during sunset it’s an additional 10 dollars
what is the reference of the orange accessory?
it’s an L bracket from 3 legged thing it’s used for the tripod
I Need That L Bracket :)
any filter used?
No filters used in this video
Woow ❣❣ Amazing street photography from Japan
Thank you 🙏🏻
Recently stumbled across your channel looking for more POV channel like myself, some of your work is superb and very inspiring! It would be great to connect from over the pond, I am on all socials I will be sure to give you a follow.
Thanks man I appreciate the kind words and you reaching out. Definitely give me a follow on Instagram
If I’m ever across the pond it would be cool to meet up with some like minded creators
@@PhotoTripps23 100% buddy! And same, I want to get over to NYC in the next few years. Noticed you followed on Insta so we can chat if anything pops up.
let me know when u want to go to the top of Sak's!!
Is there a rooftop ?
@@PhotoTripps23 Yes sir...great views!!
@@PhotoTripps23 Just let me know when you want to go up there.
can i have your preset?
At some point I might put out some presets. I could do a Lightroom tutorial if that’s something people are interested in
I would love to
I love your work, I bought the 85 mm from Sigma Art and I am super happy since I saw what you can do with it. I really admire your work, I'm like a child waiting for my lens to arrive so I can go out with it!
Thank you for the kind words 🙏🏻 your gonna love the lens
