Its great someone finally shared the secret gearbox part number.... finally someone was kind enough to tell it to us ...
Amazing job. You're very talented. Thanks for sharing
素晴らしい!あとは塗装頑張ってくださいW
Thank you!
I’ve been studying all your videos and wonderful work. I’m building same Tamiya kit with the same gearbox. Also similar to Panther installation. Question, how did you install output shafts in hull? The gear is press fit. If I make gear slip fit what retains the output shaft ? Your response would be greatly appreciated, thanks for all your work, Patrick.
Hello Patrick,
1. Bond the driving wheel (sprocket) and the hexagonal rod with A+B glue. Then pinned them with 0.5~0.7mm steel wire after the glue is solidified. Do not care the length of the hexagonal rod this moment .
2. The inner hole of the final gear of the gearbox is tight. Put the gearbox into the hull, then put in the final gear, and then insert the drive wheel from the outside of the hull, so that the drive wheel, the gearbox and the final gear will stay on the hull.
3. After confirming the position of the driving wheel, pull the driving wheel and cut off the redundant shaft, then insert it again, and fine-tune the position of the driving wheel. Then it is done.
Thats amazing
where did you get that RC tank from, because im a huge tank fan btw
Hello, that was assembly by myself. The details please see the description below the film.
This is awesome! I'm going to attempt to make one myself using 3d printer. How is the turret secured so it wont "fall out" etc? does it just stay in from the fitment/gravity?

One question: How the shaft is installed into the sprocket wheel ? Just forced inside and glued ? or something else ?
Hello, there is one bush between sprocket wheel and shaft, and had some "A+B Cement" between these three parts. And than use the assembled Track wrapped on Sprocket within one minute to get the suitable distance between sprocket plates.
One day later, having additionally a pin (0.5~1 mm) with cement from outside to fixed them.Of cause drilling slowly a hole first. The Track is so heavy.
Also, the bush could be in the kit 70097 in my memory.
@@allen8775 Thanks, Allen. Very clear. Much appreciated !
Is that the timiya motor kit awesome build man
Hi what would i need to be able to make the turret elovete and rotation
Hello, you need a 30rpm@6v N10 reducer motor, type 3M belt and pulley (also can be GT2 type) for turret rotation.
And, one 4.3g (or 5.5g) servo, one 4 wires electric rotary joint and some plastic plate (Tamiya brand) for the barrel elevating .
How do you set up the receiver and transmitter and what battery did you use or battery box?
Hello, please set the transmitter in helicopter mode.
And for the battery, you can buy that for 1/28 mini cars, it is about 7.2v/400mah(or 350mah).
another choice is the one for 1/35
Orlandoo for such as N20 reducer motors, it is 7.2v/260mah.
Hey I just want to know how did you keep the pins for the tracks in place did you glue?
Also would regular tamiya assembly type track single piece straight section?
Hello, I glued the pin from open side after they were inserted. Be careful, do not too much.
@@allen8775 Hi thanks for responding I'd like to ask if this would work with regular tamiya single piece straight sections?
@@sank-ny7wd Hello, can you show me the parts number of regular tamiya single piece straight sections? Is that similar as that in this video ua-cam.com/video/idQlv6BLfmk/v-deo.html @ 3:03? if the answer is yes, it might be ok( I don't have any experience about it in 1/35 tank).
Metal track is still the first choice for me.
@@allen8775 Thanks for replying no they are not the same thanks for helping.
i know tamiya made a 1/35 rc king tiger but i dont know if it has tracks with independent links or not
You might mean this: www.ebay.com/itm/204544582123
The tracks is not with independent links.
@allen8775 yoooo thanks, where did you get your tracks?
@@Kingofcurthes Please try this www.ebay.com/p/1701703872
Awesome work, mate😀 btw, did you buy the gun elevator in an rc shop or did you make it yourself? Also, could you tell me how many teeth are on the 3m belt? Cheers🍻😁
Hello, the servo seat was made by myself, and the other materials besides cable joint were from Orlando Hunter 1/35 OH35A01.
@@allen8775 Thanks you for your reply Allen, I've got one more question about the rc, what's that blue chip next to the battery with black and red wires connected to it?
@@annanbejat1578 Hello, that's driver for tracks and turret motors.
@@allen8775 what does it do?
@@annanbejat1578 To control the panzer moving speed, run and stop. And also the turret.
Hello,
I want to make same as you did, very nice idea.
Maybe you know where to get Friulmodel ATL-22 tracks? Friulmodel didn't answer to me, on ebay there is only in USA, but is to expensive to Europe.
Thanks.
Same situation on me, I've been waitting for my Ariete C1 tank track for over one and half year. Can you find it on Aliexpress?
@@allen8775 Ordered today from Friulmodel (ATL-22 tracks), also saw something on Aliexpress, but price is same.
@@flyforfun7129 Glad tidings!
@@allen8775 Hi again. About tank turret what is reducer motor is better N10 or N20? And what RPM is the best? I saw your links to taobao shop but is not safe to me to buy from them. Thanks for answers.
@@flyforfun7129 Hi, the reducer motor in this tank is 15rpm@6V, and I changed the motor N20 to N10 by gluing (holes position of both two is differient) to reduce the height. If the space is enough, you don't need to change it. N10 reducer motor is hard to be find.
Try to find it on Aliexpress. 30 rpm is other choice if you can't find the15 rpm one.
How thick are the piano wires you are using in this model for the suspension? Thank you
The first and the rear one are 0.6 mm, the others are 0.5mm, and also can be all 0.5mm.
@@allen8775 is on each tank model you use different combination of spring thickness? On this tank you can use all 0.5 because the roadwheel is many?
On M60A1 you said 0.6 0.6 0.5 0.5 0.6 0.6
How do you check this for the first time? I wish we can set the pressure needed but because 1/35 is so small we can only guess the pressure and asking you of course 😅
@@ulungprabowo How I decide the thickness of torsion rods? the vehicle(track) weight, numbers of road wheels and rod length. I used 0.6mm on the first and last pair of road wheels on this vehicle to make it looks "stand up". But it's actually too stiff. You can refer to my Tiger 1, it's all 0.5mm, it will have the inertia effect of the real vehicle when it starts and brakes. Same situation on M60A1, but it has only 6 pairs of road wheels, so the way is different. The biggest difference between the 1/35 plastic model and the real vehicle is that the metal track accounts for too much weight of the whole vehicle. So, the result cause of half from experience, and the other half from testing. Besides, even the suspension of the real vehicle the of first time might not be the best.
@@ulungprabowo If all 0.5mm spring rod is used, please remember to put something under the hull when placing it statically to avoid spring fatigue for too long.
@@allen8775 Thank you so much! This is the information that I really need, because I dont want to ruin my model kits because of the ireversible mistake, I may build the tiger 1 one day.
Do you pre-tension the suspension? (When not in ground, "ground clearance" is higher or when not touch the grund "ground clearance" is the same like when it touch the ground?)
@ :30 where did u get those parts
That is "PIANO Steel WIRE for Spring", I bought it from the shop which sold machinery material and tools.
Could you take a look at following video ua-cam.com/video/UcFH2_KkGks/v-deo.html @0:33
