Love this piece and l love your technique. Look forward to watching more of your work and l cant wait to try this technique on my next project... Great work👌
Loved the video...they say that chalk paints peel so you need to seal it with wax...can you please tell me if we need to seal it with anything? Or the first coat of primer does the trick ..thanks in advance..
So cool. Can you mix... chalk with Mineral?? What would happen. I want to blend the colors , and so curious. Do not want to rebuy the colors in mineral.
I'm glad to see one on furniture that doesn't have lots of texture. There are times the furniture we're painting isn't blessed with loads of architectural interest!
unfortunately I don't know the name of it! Valspar changed the whole line from furniture paint to cabinets and furniture :( I tried to get anther can but it wasn't the same color!
Love it! Thank you so much! One question about The Homax Paint Texture sand: 1- Is this product being sold originally for walls in the Homax web? Thanks in advance for your reply!
I could have missed it but did she say that she painted this with a coat of oil based white paint? I watched another video and she said she put a coat of white oil based paint so that it keeps the chalk paint from soaking into the wood. It was a wooden chair she used it on. This is my 3rd video and I’ll definitely be watching more!! Is this white coat necessary for all wood furniture that’s to be painted with chalk paint or is it because of the wet paint? (Watered down paint &!spray bottle) TYSM
Thank you so much for watching! Yes I use oil based primer to prevent any leaking or bleeding through the paint! Some of the wood furniture can bleed through the paint no matter what type of paint your using chalk or water based paint or other types! So to avoid that I give my pieces one coat of oil based primer and it works like magic! Never had a problem with it! Sometimes two coats if I’m working with mahogany wood cos it will bleed through the paint!
I'm finding this difficult to hear. What is the sand you're using to mix with the paint. I know you used Florence in the beginning, but what is the second green color? Also, you painted the dresser white first, right? I would love to keep watching this because I love the end result, but the audio is way too low, so I'm bailing. Sorry.
I love the way that dresser turned out. I like the way you explain things as you go along. I appreciate that.
Thank you for watching!
I love the colors and how they are blended and given a worn and aged look. Very effective.

Loved the video...they say that chalk paints peel so you need to seal it with wax...can you please tell me if we need to seal it with anything? Or the first coat of primer does the trick ..thanks in advance..
I don't use wax! I use water base sealer polycrylic its the best and I put at least 3 coats and sand in between.
So cool. Can you mix... chalk with Mineral?? What would happen. I want to blend the colors , and so curious. Do not want to rebuy the colors in mineral.

yes

Yes it la for walls I bought it from a hardware store! Thanks for watching ❤️❤️
Excellent work! I only have a question, do you let each layer to dry before you apply the next? thank you!
Thank you! Yes I let it dry for little bit and apply the second color! If you don’t let it dry the colors will blend together!

I'm having a lot of difficulty hearing this. My computer is is its maximum audio level.
Hi! Love this video thanks for making it. Can you please tell me what product you used to add the ‘rust’ look using the spatula? Was it a Dixie dirt?
Thank you so much! All Products been listed under the video! For the texture I added Homax paint texture! Thanks for watching!

So sorry for that Elena! All the Materials listed in the description box! The white was oil based primer to prevent any bleeding!
Have you ever done a piece to make it look like rusted or weatered metal.
Yes! I’ve done 2 pieces one using MM patina effect and one rocking chair using country chic paint both videos in my channel!
Beautiful
