This is excellent!!!! Thanks for taking the time to talk to me at the end of the day at the gate next to the blue Y at takeover. You were kind and gave me the time of day and didn’t have to. Keep up the great work!
Great video and covers a lot of great questions. It all comes down to the finances too when you rent out the EV’s & knowing sf is expensive to own/rent in, do you somewhat break even or have a good amount of net profit to pay for rent, or pay people ( if you have any) to help manage the vehicles? I guess what I’m getting at here is, are you comfortable and if not, how many more vehicles you’d need to reach that? Thanks for this video, would love to see more!
Would you please take a video about current your opinions about how to start a fleet on Turo nowadays. I will be appreciate to hear what you think ? Thanks all your usefull videos. K.R.
Do you hand over a key card to your Turo guests? Where do you see the benefit in leaving one Master key card inside the glovebox? I leave the glovebox unlocked having the registration and insurance in accessible to my guests because in no point in time i would want to share my PIN with them, I think that locking the glovebox results in discomfort for both the guest and the host and also shows distrust. What are your thoughts?
Great question, we’ll go into detail on that in a future video but essentially, both parties determine protection levels and both will be charged a deductible associated to their individual chosen protection. This gets weird sometimes like when a windshield brakes and both parties chose the $500 deductible options. Turo has tried to collect $500 from me and $500 from my renter when the windshield itself cost $750 😅
Great starter’s content. This is exactly the type of content that anyone looking to get into Turo needs. Good job, Ryan.

Was waiting to hear more about this...thanks for taking the time! Production quality is on point!
I’d love to see more how to Turo guides for Tesla owners

Will you still rent out cars out with FSD once the beta is in wide release? Hoping you can turn off city streets with password protection 😬
Great info! Thank you !
My pleasure!

Awesome video. Do you do ev tax credit and section 179?
Great video and very informative! One question - how much does turo cover if there is damage, or is that the responsibility of the renter?

imagine when fsd is done and the cars arrive at the customers house or job and they rent directly. capex is done
Nice video. I have a question for you
Nice vid Ryan
So all owners require that their cars come back as clean as when they picked it up?
That's up to the host
Great video. Do you use Turo Go tech so you don’t have to hand over keys? Would be interested in hearing more about how it works.
Yep, Turo Go is a major player for me
Well done
Great!
Did you get personal insurance that covers rental or is your insurance for just you?
Personal insurance is only for when your car is not on a trip.
Damn it seems Turo looks for any out to not pay out any claims...
As with any kind of rental company, honestly. Gotta make sure you're covered, get lots of pictures.
Well said Jeremy
Good content
Thank you
you do all deliveries and pickups yourself? if not, how do you automate it?
