Quick question I recently just had these at a restaurant and I didn't eat them as soon as they brought them to the table but the outside was cool enough for me to touch it. But the inside was still molten and actually burned my mouth. Are they supposed to be fully cooked all the way through or is there supposed to be molten inside?
The best Takoyaki has a super creamy fluffy texture to it. We call it Fu-wa-to-ro. This pertains to the Osaka style which isn’t crispy at all. When you go to a Japanese restaurant ask them if they make their own Takoyaki..or if it is deep fried and premade. If they are deep fried and pre-made you can enjoy them but it’s not authentic.
