My personal opinion, this pack looks like it should have just been free photography update. There's very few actual new clothes so it makes the collab seem a bit pointless. It sounds like the new career is repetitive. A lot of poses with the photography look really odd/awkward to me. And for me personally, the BB looks too limited. I can't imagine using it outside of a photo studio or industrial building. Photography is in the BG now, so I don't understand why they couldn't have just made this a free update for all (I mean, aside from wanting more money). But I'm sure it'll have it's fans, these are just my opinions.
agree what was the point in collab with a clothing line if the fashion was not part of the pack. The is clearly a money grab. and they knew the only reason anyone would buy this is the job which should have been free. Ea fire the sob who made those clothes before they try and make another pack.

It is this way with everything in real life. The tripod is 10.00 and the lights,screen. Without it ,you can still do photography,only it's poor quality without poses and angles.Just like on Amazon you pay for the premium movies or pay to play better games. None of these people give anything major away for free. It sucks but yet they would go broke as a company if they didn't make any money and gave everything they made away. You could say the stuff packs are incomplete at launch... but that on purpose.

The build/buy stuff is rad, but wtf is up with having like 5 CAS items in a fashion pack.. so weird

I'm all for the photography career, but couldn't they have made better poses? Hoping some mods will come along to help with that.
Mariah Berdiago There are countless of pose mods out there that will probably suit your tastes! Honestly, even these poses should have been patched in for free. We even get FREE POSES from modders.
still annoyed they didnt just patch in the photography freelancer career like with the other freelancer careers. it jsucks that a base game skill only gets expanded if you pay $10 for it :/
Throwaway McJensen sims is clearly a completely polished thousand dollar gaming experience.

And what's worse is that photography was from Get To Work, which is a pretty useless pack, except for the photography skill, which was redone in Mosquito Stuff.
Maybe it just _feels_ this way without a direct comparison, but this pack feels so small. I figured with it being a Moschino pack, that there would be a lot more clothing options, while adding some contemporary build/buy objects. I feel like this should've been free or part of a previous back like Get Famous. The additions to photography are cool, and I love the backdrops and _especially_ the windows, but man. Definitely gonna wait for a sale, even if it's just two bucks less.
There is 10 build element less than in Washing Machine one and probably as much clothing options. Gameplay also isn't that new. So like - it's definitely a steal.
MJM I have to disagree. It was advertised as a fashion pack. Idk... maybe it’s just me but this easily could’ve been an update for sure. It feels like EA probably got money from Moschino if they add their stuff to the Sims so it feels like a business contract pack lol which H&M stuff was probably too in the Sims 2 but it had way more awesome clothing options.
@@micahcook2408 Which means you agree with me. Cause this pack have less everything. Im ok with sponsored company based pack. If it has proper amount of things. It's fashion stuff pack without much fashion. It's a steal that could have been cheaper or added as an update.

ForeverDreamWithinADream Photography improvements can easily be patched in. It is misleading to call this Moschino SP when the main highlight of it isn’t about that.
but we are getting magic soon and witches.. and we would probably have uni next year.. they always have a brand name stuff pack..

@ForeverDreamWithinADream You're right, but the issue here is that it could (and really should) have been something patched for free. Not locked behind a $10 paywall. I too would love to have photography improvements for family photos, but I personally am not paying 10 bucks for it.
You'd think a pack made in collab with a famous fashion company would have more FASHION in it. . .then again, most of those clothes are "eeeenh" to me. I do like the posing available with pictures, but it annoys me that it's apparently tripod-exclusive, and I have to say, I don't do much with photography anyway. I like some of the items, but if I do pick it up, I won't do so at full price.
I honestly think these packs are starting to be The Sims franchise's version of micro transactions

tbh I like it so much more than The Sims 3. I'm still heated over the 18 dollar world that had an amusement park that was inaccessible unless you paid ANOTHER 10 or so to unlock it.

Photography is so unappealing to me, but damn I do love new careers. I just don't know why this wasn't included in the freelance update
I plan to buy the pack for the windows ALONE, but .... I may actually create a family for the pictures options. We'll see LOL. You're doing a fantastic job, Carl. I wish I could afford to support on Patreon, but all I can do is support by watching all of the commercials in your videos.

I picked this stuff pack up on release day and I must say it is not worth the cost. It comes with a lot of glitches and the clothing isn't mutch. This really should have been a game update and not a buy.
It's nice to see free updates being locked behind 20 dollars/euros ad campaign for a clothing brand nobody actually cares about and not even 0.1% of Sims player ever bought any of their products.

freedomfyodor this is an instance of a company releasing a lackluster feature in a game, and hiding the improved version of that feature behind a paywall along with advetising for some other company. It sucks and people should be able to complain about it
freedomfyodor not everything should be free but they literally released an update with the freelance career that included photography before this pack... also, do you know who Moschino is? Lol because most players did not who that fashion company was so it seemed like a advertisement and company contract deal in a gaming pack lmaooo On top of that there’s literally a small amount of clothing included into the pack and there’s also a graphic t-shirt in this fashion pack.... like what? Lmao compared to Sims 2 H&M stuff, this just falls flat on many levels. This was the same problem with Cast and Dogs and it’s Pets stuff pack that included a small category of items they could’ve easily put into the official C&D expansion pack. Like the moschino stuff could’ve literally been a part of the freelance update and it would’ve been fine or make the freelance update be included in the pack but don’t try to charge 10 dollars on the second 1/3 half of stuff that people could’ve had from the get-go with the original pack/update?
I'm gonna be honest but this overall pack is below average and as I often say, this could've been as an free update

More photography options are always welcome for me. Would be nice if you could take photographs with sims posing on furniture. Place the marker underneath something and they'll pose on it would be cool. Take fancy photographs around the house!
I wouldn't even call it a clothing pack to be honest, not with that amount of clothes. It's just renamed and monetised photography update with few items added on top of that.
wish it had a freelance stylist career too, like in sims 3 ambitions

Honestly I think these are all these awesome camera features as well as the photography career should have been in base game from the start. But I admit I did plunk down the 9.99 only to finally have them in my game.

im tempted because of the ability to take better photos, but Id much rather pay a modder to do that than maxis.
really love that gonna try it out! thats what i want to do in real life someday soon and to be able to do it with more details in the sims (quite honestly a lot of gorgous female sims lol) is great! you CAN get the tripod WITHOUT the career so if you dont want to do the career stuff just use it as a fun creative way of taking sims photos!

I'm loving it!! I made over 6K on my first freelancer job! I love all the new build/buy items! I do wish it didn't save the screenshot though...I delete enough of those already! All in all, so far, I'm happy with it. I've only played it for about an hour though.

I've looked around and have yet to find an answer to this. I took a break from playing Sims 4, but one of the things I used to like to do is make paintings from shot camera images. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to do it again. It looks as if they either changed how the process works, or they removed the ability altogether. Online searches return what appears to only be old information, as the directions no longer apply. If I recall correctly, you took the shots on the phone, and then started the painting based off of an "inspired" selection option, or something like that. Now there is no such option, nor is there anything on the phone the implies an ability to save an inspiration.
Sorry of that isn't all that clear, but I am hoping that someone out there might have some info on what happened with this ability.

How do you get to change poses with family photos while not in photography career? I bought it and can't seem to change poses.
Even though I think this stuff is hideous, not having a large amount of clothing in the pack it's named after isn't really a point in its favor. Just call it a less esoteric name. The main reason I'm being apprehensive is because of the name. Even though I know what the pack is really about, I have to freeze and think "Do I want to support this?". So far the answer is always no, the clothes are gross and photography looks cool but is locked behind this damning name. Photography isn't really something I care about but I've shelled out money for stuff like this before even though I've not used it past the release date. In those cases they are up front with what I was buying, now I have to think "If I support it will this become the norm?".

They’ve done a collaboration pack with almost (though I think it’s every) release of the game. It’s already the norm. They’ve done Deisel and Ikea that I remember, but there’s definitely others. They haven’t done it often so I don’t think it’ll become a more regular thing that it already is.
Oh, and can you just say the clothes aren’t to your taste, there are plenty of people that like them, myself included. I wish more people would be a little more considerate about this. You can dislike something, but that doesn’t make it objectively “gross” or bad, it’s subjective.
I don't know about the Diesel one but I really liked the IKEA and H&M collabs for the Sims2, it was super clear: 100% furniture for one and 100% clothes for the other. Simple, straightforward, efficient.
I am not super fond of the recent trend of blurring the lines for the type of packs, squizzing skills and bits of carreers here and there to get more people to buy it. Just put stuffs in the stuff packs.
Romarine we have a difference of opinion then. I like the packs that have more than just stuff because I find them more interesting. But, if that’s actually your problem with them I misunderstood. I thought your complaint was about the commercialism of the packs being bad. Which, I actually semi agree with, but I also know it’s not a new thing to the sims and isn’t likely to become more common because I think, though I might be wrong, they cost a lot more to make due to licencing agreements which can be complicated. :)
I'm a fan of the photo frames I wish it was more of a photo pack rather than having some weird clothes. Though....tbh the windows are amazing.
I think it okay for what it is. A meh pack but safe to buy if your a fan.

The last time I tried using photography, I got it a bit past halfway up, and it bugged and wouldn't go past that, then it wouldn't go farther and any Sims who didn't have it wouldn't learn it, so I couldn't progress in the style influencer career. Is there any way to fix this? (I'm on ps4)
I wished they inserted more Clothing and maybe idk the photog career came in with a modelling career.
I am waiting for the farm expansion which I don't know if it's coming.
Photographer should have to learn how to color grade and edit before they can get excellent photos. Or some other skills real photographers have to acquire.
Edit: I don't know if editing photos should be a player minigame, or like, menu wheel, or just an animation. But like it'd be cool in any form imo.

True, though it does seem partial to bigger builds on bigger lots. I can see this feature getting boring and not as useable, fast. Therefore, I may wait for it to go on sale and check it out more reviews that show the clothing and other décor a little more.
Gonna be honest, I only want this so I can have better family portraits and pics....and maybe for build/buy?? Otherwise this CANNOT be considered Moschino fashion, there is like non-existent CAS. I'm late, I've been playing with it during quarantine bc it otherwise is not something you should buy.

Loved Wolfgang Munch in his new hair and earrings! He pulled them off. Great review and honest. I am not impressed with this pack. I normally keep my opinions to myself but this one is just meh.
I have almost everything Sims4 but on the trailer for this one, they show the sims sliding down a giant slide. I can not find this slide anywhere. Do you know which pack has this slide?
Hey, Deb. I looked into it, because I didn't see that slide in the pack. Those are actually Moschino models (ie not Sims) on the slide. They just have a kind of weird filter on the camera and it's kind of blurry. So, as far as I know, no such slide is in the game.

Honestly free cc is trillions better. Only works for new photo skills thats all

Meh, I'll probably just buy this later, I love the pack but one, I'm broke right now lol, and two, this pack doesn't give off the effect that Island living did where I have to buy it immediately or else I'll have a mental breakdown lol.

You could have mentioned this pack is full of bugs and is unplayable at best. The sims are uncontrollable, taking a group photo is a nightmare, taking a photo together (with a photographer or pet) is even worse than nightmare. The old studio is much better in this sense, but oh my, they didn't add poses to it :D Also, sims are much closer on the old studio photos, they are all separate for the most part on the new studio photos. The worst pack to the date.

I personal am not a fan of this type of pack, i.e. a branded pack, but this pack has a couple of good things in it, i.e. the tripod and camera, the back ground screen could do with a make over as the back drops a not as good as the base game back drops.
I did how ever find the if you shrink down the green screens from get famous these make better back drops and just in case you not sure or do not know how to shrink items just use "[" the shrink and "]" to in large.
You know this stuff pack doesn't bother me as much as the actual Moschino company does. Who the heck pays $200 for joggers and tees? If I'm paying that kind of money for clothes it should be a suit or evening dress. I can buy crap that looks exactly like their clothes for $15 at Wal-mart. Just give me Sims 4 Wal-mart stuff smh.

Sorry but I wouldn't pay money for it. Who wants a kajillion photos clogging up space? It's cool you can take pics with kids and an actual group though.

Ea, what about you make a pack that is really good and has mang things to do in it so everyone would buy it instead of making more crappy packs no one wants.
For 10 bucks I think it is worth it for the photography updates and additional build/buy items. Ten bucks yes, but more than that and I would have been disappointed.

Pack is a little stupid since yes, it should have been part of the photography offering in the game...but as someone who buys EVERY sim pack that exists because I have a problem with NOT having all things sims.......it was less than my lunch with the origin all access discount. So meh....but okay?

i’m more of a builder than a player, so sometimes i get packs only for what it offers me in buildmode, and unfortunately this pack has really nice windows.... i’ll probably get it at some point, i still think it’s just a pointless cash grab pack and it’s not high up on my tier list whatsoever... just wish we could get some nice industrial big windows and not have to buy this shitty pack

Hey. I've been a Game Changer since the program started, but it's more important to disclose on a review like this. FTC regulations require indicating when a product was free. It's a total non-issue on the other 99% of my content. It's still not a paid position, or anything like that. Even if it were, we're allowed to be critical where we desire to be.
