Most of the characters were actually worse in the book than the movie. Charlie was great in the movie not so much in the book. Charlie in the book congratulates Jacob on forcefully kissing Bella and isn’t to upset that she was so upset by it that she broke her hand. Jacob is bad in the movie but even worse in the book. When he forcefully kiss her in the book he grabs her so aggressively and than gets mad when she struggles so kisses her harder so Bella just goes limp.
Jacob is also has a super low opinion of Bella in the books. He basically says he thinks the only reason she loves Edward is 1. He attractive. 2. He rich. So Jacob thinks Bella is both vain and a gold digger and that’s why she won’t date him because he’s not as attractive and poor.
Oh almost forgot! Jacob also compares Bella and Edward relationship to like an abusive one. He says in the book he watched a documentary about abuse relationship because he thinks Bella is being abused and her love for Edward is just so strange. Even though he literally knows via the story’s of the cold ones that vampires have mates and it’s pretty clear that Bella is edwards mate. And he knows he has an imprint out there somewhere that he will magically fall in love with at first glance but Bella falling hard for Edward is just to crazy for Jacob to understand. Just seem a bit hypocritical to me.

This might be a controversial opinion right here: I can get behind the whole 'wolf inprinting on a baby' because it's like the wolf is the baby's protector, godparent, uncle, big sibling or whatever as they grow up. Like, if we saw a scene in the future of Jacob with an 18yo Renesme being a protector and maybe dropping her off at school, for a date, or an interview, and we can see Jacob giving her some good advice, I would like that. Where I draw the line is when JACOB freaking says "Should I call you dad now?" insinuating that, yeah, I'm the protector of you baby/toddler/child now, but I'm definitley going to get with her when she's old enough, which by how fast she ages, could be in a few months. And yet Renesme is going to be mentally immature. We don't get any information on how mature Renesme is, except she comunicates through touching people's face, instead of speaking. It's all just gross. She been alive for a few months and she would already look 18. Just ew.
I completely agree with you, I just want to add a tidbit from the books (though you can correct me if this turns out to be wrong, this is just how I've always remembered it): It's stated in Breaking Dawn that Renesmee grows rapidly on all levels, so that includes mentally and emotionally. I can even remember it saying that she was a few years ahead mentally. So like, she'd physically be 7 and mentally like 9. But yeah, it's still icky that Jacob would insinuate that about a child that on all levels is max. 10 by the end of the series.

The concept of imprinting is still weird because they know that they will eventually get with the child, so those thoughts are in his mind already, that's what makes the "should I start calling you dad" creepier. The only reason Stephanie said specifically that they are what the kid needs according to the age it's so that in doesn't seem like grooming, but it still does because that's what groomers do so the child trusts them.

Bella really is weirdly obsessed with being a vampire i feel like she definitely was a horse girl in 2-4th grade at recess she would gallop up to her crush and bite his ankles and quickly run away on all fours. also when she would say “i like you” to him he would be like “you bit me you f-ing weirdo”. Bella would definitely chase the popular girls around while on her hands and knees while they run away screaming. the popular girls were in constant fear that Bella would be hiding under something or be behind them waiting to strike so she can say she bit the popular kids. Bella was obviously the weird kid in school that everyone avoided and she thought she was gonna be popular one day but everyone just ran away when they saw her cause they didn’t want to get bitten.

For all the times while watching the twilight series, Ill never be able to get through the scene where Bella yells at Charliw without getting really upset. He's so HURT, like omfg stopppp he's gonna cry!!
Most of the characters were actually worse in the book than the movie. Charlie was great in the movie not so much in the book. Charlie in the book congratulates Jacob on forcefully kissing Bella and isn’t to upset that she was so upset by it that she broke her hand.
Jacob is bad in the movie but even worse in the book. When he forcefully kiss her in the book he grabs her so aggressively and than gets mad when she struggles so kisses her harder so Bella just goes limp.
Jacob is also has a super low opinion of Bella in the books. He basically says he thinks the only reason she loves Edward is
1. He attractive.
2. He rich.
So Jacob thinks Bella is both vain and a gold digger and that’s why she won’t date him because he’s not as attractive and poor.
Oh almost forgot! Jacob also compares Bella and Edward relationship to like an abusive one. He says in the book he watched a documentary about abuse relationship because he thinks Bella is being abused and her love for Edward is just so strange. Even though he literally knows via the story’s of the cold ones that vampires have mates and it’s pretty clear that Bella is edwards mate. And he knows he has an imprint out there somewhere that he will magically fall in love with at first glance but Bella falling hard for Edward is just to crazy for Jacob to understand. Just seem a bit hypocritical to me.

This might be a controversial opinion right here: I can get behind the whole 'wolf inprinting on a baby' because it's like the wolf is the baby's protector, godparent, uncle, big sibling or whatever as they grow up. Like, if we saw a scene in the future of Jacob with an 18yo Renesme being a protector and maybe dropping her off at school, for a date, or an interview, and we can see Jacob giving her some good advice, I would like that. Where I draw the line is when JACOB freaking says "Should I call you dad now?" insinuating that, yeah, I'm the protector of you baby/toddler/child now, but I'm definitley going to get with her when she's old enough, which by how fast she ages, could be in a few months. And yet Renesme is going to be mentally immature. We don't get any information on how mature Renesme is, except she comunicates through touching people's face, instead of speaking. It's all just gross. She been alive for a few months and she would already look 18. Just ew.
I completely agree with you, I just want to add a tidbit from the books (though you can correct me if this turns out to be wrong, this is just how I've always remembered it):
It's stated in Breaking Dawn that Renesmee grows rapidly on all levels, so that includes mentally and emotionally. I can even remember it saying that she was a few years ahead mentally. So like, she'd physically be 7 and mentally like 9.
But yeah, it's still icky that Jacob would insinuate that about a child that on all levels is max. 10 by the end of the series.

The concept of imprinting is still weird because they know that they will eventually get with the child, so those thoughts are in his mind already, that's what makes the "should I start calling you dad" creepier. The only reason Stephanie said specifically that they are what the kid needs according to the age it's so that in doesn't seem like grooming, but it still does because that's what groomers do so the child trusts them.
